Celebrate Easter with Cheryl Walker

1:00 AM 1 Comments
Hello Crafty Friends, Cheryl here with a sweet Pop Up Easter Card designed for Cheery Lynn Designs using some super darling dies they carry. LOVE the sweet bunny and chicks together, aren't they just darling???!!!! I think I used 9 Cheery Lynn Dies on this one...hehehe I really had a lot of fun designing this card to share with you all!

On my card I started with cutting the sweet bunny out using design papers for her. Next I did distress her and her dress.  She is so cute, love her! I will use her on other cards, not just for Easter. She does have one of the Tiny Flowers made from the tiny flower die. The chicks were cut using white card stock and then colored in with 2 yellow Copic markers. I can totally see them cut in a yellow batik or some kinda 2 tone yellow print card stock, and then distressed, that would be so cute. I did add eyes using the Viva Pearl Pen in black. Also another flower on one of the chicks.

Greenery was cut using the Olive branches and Flourish #3 dies, and cut with a olive tone card stock. I added little flowers made using the Tiny Flower kit to the greenery. I also used a LOVE Heart from the Sweetheart Candy die.

The frame was cut using 2 different dies for my scenery and sentiment. I chose to use the beautiful Mirror Mirror Doily Frame die, and the Scandinavian Oval Doily. Sentiment is from ODBD.

Look for Rainbows

12:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi everyone, Laurie here from Stamping Up North sharing a clean and simple rainbow card today!

I used Cheery Lynn's pierced circles and cut out a bunch of rings in bright rainbow colors. I adhered them onto a white circle, then cut it in half.

I cut out 2 clouds from the Whimsical Sun and Cloud set, and attached them on the ends of the rainbow. Then I adhered the cheerful sun on top of the rainbow! I stamped the sentiment and added some enamel dots.

Happy Easter by Jenny Alia

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi crafty peeps!  I just bought this large Easter Egg die and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to have some fun with shimmer sprays.  It's difficult to see in the photograph but the egg really shimmers.  It has such great detail, some of which I unfortunately covered with the Happy Easter sentiment.

I used the Pierced Banners die to make the double sided banner.  It was easy to run only one side of the die through my die cut machine, then flip the die (lining up the holes) before finally cutting the other end of the banner.  This way I was able to get the same detail on both ends.  It's also great because you can modify the length of this banner.  It was originally too large but I solved the problem by lining up the holes in both the die and die cut and then running one end through the machine again, re-cutting an end.

Best Wishes Pop Up Card by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hello Cheery Lynn fans, it’s JULIE here today and I am sharing some Vintage inspiration with our Dies and a new Pop Up one today.

My card measures approximately 6x6 inches and uses pretty Maja Design papers. You will see my paper layers have been tattered at the edges adding a pretty Stacker frame between my layers. I also added a Doily between my torn layers and foam strips to my torn layers to give more dimension to my card.

My flowers were inked at the edges and shaped on my Embossing mat with a gem added to the centres and flourishes paper pieced around my card.

I also cut down a flower to fit on the corner adding a little Silicone Glue between the 2 layers, I love how pretty this effect looks.

My Best Wishes sentiment was layered onto my card adding another layer of patterned paper inked at the edges and flower petals in the corners all to compliment the outside of my card.

Hello by Jenny Alia

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi, I was inspired to use lime green and aqua together and this is the result.  The hello is photographing as black but it's actually more of a charcoal color.  I chose the colors first, the background lattice next, and then the flowers and foliage.

This hello from the Bohemian Word set is one of my go-to Cheery Lynn dies.  I love the casual script font and the size is large enough to make a visual impact on a card.  It works well on clean-and-simple cards but is elegant enough to use on other style cards as well.  After molding the Sweet Williams flowers using a stylus and molding mat, I added a white center from the Embellishment #2 Set and glued small rhinestones to the centers.

3:30 AM 0 Comments
A warm hello to you. It's Debbie from Debbie's Time Out hosting the blog today.

Today I am featuring the Pop Up Flowers.

I used a flower patterned paper for the front of the card and matted it with green and white cardstock. I layered the Clock to the right side of the card. I cut some flowers blooms from the Pop Up Flowers. I colored and shaped them. I layered the Fanciful Flourish and the Mini Fanciful Flourish in a couple of  places and then layered the flowers onto the flourishes.

Here is a photo of the inside of the card showing the Pop Up Flowers. A piece of matching paper was layered to the inside. This is one of my favorite pop up dies from the collection. Cheery Lynn Designs does have a nice selection of pop up dies to choose from. I hope I have inspired to  try creating with the pop up dies. They really do make people smile.

Good morning! I hope every one is having a wonderful day. I wanted to share one more card for the upcoming Easter holiday. This card is focused more on the religious side using a beautiful cross die cut by Cheery Lynn Designs

I wanted to create the card and with several layers. I used Fiona's Magic Mirror, A Stitched Rectangle, then a Stitched Oval before the Cross. A used the rabbit form Nesting Eggs and added pearls for the eye and tail. There are little eggs in the corner with beautiful flowers and leaves. I also had to use the Dove because it makes me think of heaven.

Happy Easter with Cheryl Walker

1:30 AM 0 Comments

Hello everyone and Happy Thursday to you all! Today I have a sweet Easter card made with Cheery Lynn's Beautiful Dies.  I love the bunny dies, they are super cute and fun to work with as well.

On this card I chose the Bunnies for Easter, they are a perfect! I used just the one, and he was cut using a white card stock that came embossed with swirls.  I think its Bazzill, I just came across a stack of this card stock and thought it would look cute. I also wanted to use the beautiful Ornament #7 die, and I colored it with Copic markers, as it was cut out in a white card stock. I'm in love with the ornament dies Cheery Lynn has and need to add a few to my Wish List! The Garden Gate Die was a perfect match for this sweet bunny...heheheehe.  I also used the grass border cut out once and then cut it apart to layer for behind the bunny.  For my sentiment I cut a pink coordinating design paper. I also used the Polynesian Sails Oval for behind all the top layers.  It was cut in white card stock.

I love making the cutesy Easter cards, they are so much fun  to design :) I do hope you enjoyed my post for today :)

Cheery Lynn Supplies Used:
Ornament #7 CAS07 there are also others to choose from

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Laurie here from Stamping Up North sharing an Easter card today!

I started out with one of my favorite dies....Cheery Lynn's Funny Bunny. He always makes me smile. This time I stuck him inside an Easter basket, and added a few eggs for good measure.

I adhered a small pink flower onto the basket from the Floral Bouquet Kit. Then I backed it all onto a nesting doll oval and lattice.

Colorful Thank You Card with Bonnie Garby

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hi Cheery Lynn fans.  Bonnie from Make Time to Craft here with you today with a bold and colorful Thank You card featuring some pretty dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.
The wild and colorful Distress Ink background paper I created is a perfect backdrop for a bold white frame die.  It really shows off the detail of the die.  I also used some of the background paper I created for the Thank You sentiment which was backed with a turquoise layer for a shadow effect.
I also carried the paper through for some of the layers of the pretty flower to pull everything together.
The flower was created with the Daisy Strip for the petals and then I created the center using the center die from the Black Eyed Susan strip.  The leaves came from the Floral Bouquet kit.  Why not mix and match flower pieces to create even more options!

Cheery Lynn Dies used:

My card was topped off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using Hot Pink and Turquoise Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The center of the bow was adorned with a heart shaped pearl embellishment.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope I've inspired you to pull out your flower dies and try mixing and matching some of the petals and leaves.  Happy crafting.

Easter Egg Hunt by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi Cheery Lynn fans, it’s JULIE here today and I am sharing some more Easter inspiration with the super selection of Dies we have available.

I started by cutting out my chicks in lemon and white cardstock. I shaded the eggs with Tattered Rose Distress Ink and mounted them onto the yellow die cut chicks adding a drop of Black Liquid Pearls into their eyes.

My rabbit was shaded with Iced Spruce Distress ink and a fluffy Pom Pom tail added.

My eggs were cut out of Craft Consortium’s Wild Rose Paper Pad and mounted onto background paper and fussy cut around the edges, finishing with lots of pink gems being added onto them for sparkle.

Masculine Birthday Card

3:30 AM 1 Comments
Hi Cheery Lynn Fans.  Bonnie from Make Time to Craft here with you today sharing a masculine birthday card I created with some great dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.
The truth of the matter is, I struggle when making masculine cards.  I'm more of a pink and purple with lots of flowers girl, but that just doesn't work with cards for men.  Clean lines seem to be the way to go.
For this card I pulled out my Electric Guitar die  and Nesting Doll Tags 1 which are both ON SALE NOW, so if you like them, head on over and grab them for your stash.

I cut the guitar in a shimmery metallic and then added the accents in the different colors.  The tag was embelllished with a bit of brown burlap string.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  What are your favorite go-to dies for making masculine cards?

Table And Chairs by Debbie Brownmiller

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hi.  Today I am featuring another one of the Pop Up Dies newly released by Cheery Lynn Designs. It is the "Table and Chairs".

This is the front of the card and I placed the Swedish Spring Oval Frame to the center of the card. I printed the sentiment on it and stamped a sprig of flowers to the top of it.

Here is the inside of the card. The table and chairs are just priceless the way they pop up. The doily on the table was cut from the Felicity Tiny Doily. I used  the Swedish Spring Oval Frame  to cut another frame from the pattern paper to use as a area rug in front of the table. Now how cute is that. These Pop Ups really do make a nice interactive card to give to that special person.

Thanks for visiting the blog today and for the comments you leave. Have a crafty day my friends.
