# Daisy Strip # Lori Williams

Life's a Daisy Tutorial

 

I've seen cupcakes created for quite some time and I finally broke down and made one for myself, and must say I love it.  The tutorial for the cupcake was inspired from Miranda Edney's . 




For my flowers I used the Daisy Strip Die and colored the base of the flowers with Clear Snap Mixed Media ink , leaving the very tips white.  This ink is very opaque and works great for coloring flowers, but be sure to let it dry completely as it has a long dry time. 


With a sponge dauber I colored the center of the petals. Pinch each petal with your tweezers.  Glue three sizes of  flowers together for each flowers and  color the tips of the flowers with the Berry Ink too.  


Add your flowers to the Styrofoam base using push pins and add leaves throughout the flowers. Finish off each flowers with a pearl
