CURRENT DESIGN TEAM

Hi! I'm Laurie from Stampin' Up North and I live in Northern Minnesota. I started paper crafting about 10 years ago when my hubby and I became empty nesters and I was looking for a new hobby. One stamp led to another...and you know the familiar story....I was hooked! I love to spend the long, cold, snowy Minnesota winters in my craft room making cards. I love using dies, and would say my style is clean and layered. I'm so excited to be joining the design team at Cheery Lynn!

I'm Cheryl Walker and I'm so excited to be a new part of the Cheery Lynn design team.  I was born and raised in California and I have lived in Utah for the past 10 years.  I am married and have been for 26 years. We have 3 grown kids, 1 cat, and 2 dogs. I have been crafting since 1986 (covering albums, wall decorations, and things for home).  In 1995 I started scrapbooking and then in 2006 I started card making due to my neighbor and StampinUp!...hehehehe.  I've been hooked ever since with card making and papercrafting!  I spend most of my time crafting, cooking, and taking care of our home. I LOVE crafting, it's a hobby and a passion of mine. I enjoy making cards, mini albums, tags, treat bags, calendars, mini post-its, and altered art/ floral. Currently I would have to say my LOVE is for creating beautiful glass flowers that I have been making. I love trying different products on them to give a different look to each one. I am super excited to be part of the Cheery Lynn DT!!

Hi I’m Jenny and I live in New York in a suburb outside NYC.I’m married and we have four young children (three boys and a girl). I’ve been paper crafting since 2000 when a friend introduced me to embossing powder. I’ve always loved art and dabbled in photography, watercolor painting, jewelry making and print making before finding my card making obsession.I love that by using new tools and products or mixing older items I can constantly create new and unique projects.I enjoy shabby chic, vintage, CAS styles, and lately mixed media (that probably encompasses them all). My style changes depending on the day but my love of dies and using handmade flowers on projects is constant.Cheery Lynn Designs dies are my favorite and I’m thrilled and honored to join this amazing design team.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Julie Lavalette and I live in Scotland, UK, with my husband Chris, my younger daughter, 4 adorable Siamese Cats and my dog Ziggi. As long as I can remember I have enjoyed crafting and about 8 years ago Chris and I decided to get married and I needed Wedding Invitations. This reignited my love with paper as an adult and I have been addicted ever since. I enjoy mixed media, scrapbooking, 3D projects and card making to name a few. I adore bygone eras in History and feed this passion with my love of my Dolls House and crafting in a Vintage style. I feel so lucky and honoured to be asked to join the Cheery Lynn Design Team and look forward to sharing my knowledge and creativity with these amazing versatile dies.

I started scrapbooking, stamping and card making in 2005.   I also enjoy   photography which comes in handy when I am scrapbooking and card making.  I really enjoy the paper crafts   I am doing now as I always   learn something with each new creation I make.  I am really addicted to the Cheery Lynn Designs so it was a great feeling   to get a invite to be part of the Design Team and to have an opportunity to work such talented designers as well as such awesome product. . I hope I can inspire others as so many others have inspired me along the way.

Hello my name is Cherry Nelson.  I am a 4th generation Oregonian and am a country girl.  I pretty much live out in the middle of nowhere and would not change it for the world.  I have been creating in some capacity for as long as I can remember.  My love for handmade came from my Mama who always made my doll clothes and sewed the sweetest things for me.  My favorite thing to do is turn on music or an old movie and while away the hours in my little craft room.  I am so excited to be a part of this great group of girls and Cheery Lynn Designs!

Hi, I'm Maggi Harding and I am thrilled to be a guest designer for Cheery Lynn Designs!  I am loving these dies and having a blast creating with them.

My husband and I are retired and share our home in eastern North Carolina with our two standard poodles, Nika and Tisha.  We love to travel and do so mostly in our RV so that our sweet furbabies can be with us.   We have been from Key WestFlorida to FairbanksAlaska and from the Pacific shores of California to the Atlantic shores of North Carolina in our well travelled motorhome!
My style is all over the board as I do a little bit of everything, but two things I really love, are vintage styling and bright bold colors layered up, of course, with pretty die cut frames and shapes.  Paper art is an artistic adventure for me; I always ask myself, what can I create, how can I make this piece of paper come to life?   I love the challenge of combining beautiful patterns with my photos to create a cohesive art piece.  Scrapbooking has awakened my “inner artist” and  satisfies the creative side of my brain that was long neglected during my career as a CPA.  These days I am a happy  retired, stay at home, crazy, paper loving scrap artist.

Hi my name is Amy Voorthuis and I’m 35 years old.   I live in The Netherlands with the love of my life Jeroen and our handsome son Kevin (8).  We got married on the 20th of April 2012 after being together for 12 years.  I’ve been scrapbooking for over 9 years now and I love it. I got introduced with scrapbooking by my aunt Ellen who lives in the sunny state Florida…..I think she did an awesome job because I’m hooked for life.  I'm in my third year of study to get my degree for practicing measurements for the eyes (optician)   I love to be creative in every way I can, seeing my job as an optician I need to be kind off creative anyways…..fixing all those glasses ;-)  My style is eehhmm well I like to think it’s a romantic style don’t really know how to call it.  I love to try everything “new” I like. I adore to use handmade flowers, dies, metal art and designed chipboard pieces on my projects.  Scrapbooking is such a nice way to keep your (pictured) memories well organized while having a blast at the same time. I didn’t think I would love to make cards as much as I do now, because I’m a scrap booker at heart. But Cheery Lynn Designs has amazing products to work with on cards so I might be hooked on cards now too lol

Corina Finley
Hello. My name is Corina Finley. I live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, with my husband Curtis and our two sons, Tyler and Colten.  I love to work with a variety of media but my true passion is Paper Arts which I have been enjoying for as long as I can remember. Creating and sharing my love for paper arts brings me much satisfaction and, I believe, reflects in the unique projects that I create.  With paper arts constantly changing and growing, I try to stay current, to continually learn new techniques, and to push my creative style and ability each day.  To be asked to join the Cheery Lynn design team is an honour! Alison – 'xtglx'
Hi, I'm Alison, and I was so thrilled and very honoured to be asked to join the extremely talented Cheery Lynn Dies Design Team!   Its a wonderful opportunity to work with some amazing designers and products, I feel so lucky.  Now, I have never been bored in my life ever! From a very early age I was always 'up to something crafty', sewing clothes for my dolls, drawing, painting, knitting, tapestry, making jewellery and learning to make anything for myself that I could.  I got into card-making about 9 years ago, and like to try lots of different styles.  I think essentially I am quite girly and feminine and very much a 'more is more' kind of gal. I love making my own flowers, adding stitching on my cards and my absolute favourite is playing about with dies. I can spend hours on one project, as its not about a race to the finish, its about how you get there and what you learn along the way for me.  I love visiting other crafters blogs as they are an unlimited source of inspiration and beauty.

Anita Kejriwal
My name is Anita Kejriwal and I live in the eastern part of India in Kolkata. I'm happily married since last 21 years and have two children aged 18 year old girl and a 6 year old boy. I have been crafting since I was a kid. It all began with painting followed by all sorts of craft - bead craft, dough craft, flower making and finally I started paper crafting 5 years back. Apart from this, I love baking, singing and dancing. I love making cards and scrapbooks and stamping is my passion. Flower making is my forte and I love making them. I am open to all types of paper crafting and lately on mixed media. Another passion is collecting craft supplies. I just love collecting them, be it stamps, dies, papers etc, and so all my savings go into this. Because of this craft, I have made friends all over the world and have also won many accolades in card making. Crafting is my passion and if its possible would craft 24.x7.  I am proud to be a part of the Cheery Lynn Designs team and would put my best effort forward. Thank you so much for making me a part of the Cheery Lynn family.

Beth Moore,
Diet Pepsi provides me with late night superpowers so that I can succumb to my paper crafting addiction after a day spent as a partner, mom, grandmother and slave to my menagerie of animals. At my house, where even the dogs get cat hair on them, animal fur is a condiment and everyone is subject to starring in my scrapbook layouts, I look forward to retreating to my craft room at the end of the day to spend time re-fueling my soul by creating with pretty papers and glue and die cuts too of course! I can't begin to express how thrilled I am to be part of such an exciting and diverse team at Cheery Lynn Designs and feel so honored to have a chance to help inspire you to create beautiful cards and paper projects with the fabulous dies available at Cheery Lynn Designs!

Debbie Sherman
Hi!  I'm Debbie Sherman from the Cowboy State, big beautiful Wyoming!  I'm so excited to be part of the Cheery Lynn Design Team!  When I'm not scrap booking I am a road designer, photographer, wife, mother, grandmother of 6, auntie and friend. I have been crafting since I was a little girl.  I started out sewing and making jewelry around the age of 7 and have been creating ever since.  I still bead and sew but now it's mostly on my paper projects.  I love photography and sometimes get that "great shot" that all photographers live for!  I am fortunate enough to have a press pass and am able to shoot big events occasionally. The city I live in has a yearly old west celebration called the"Daddy of 'em all" and I'm fortunate enough to attend the big rodeo's, Native Americans and several other events in town. With my press pass I have front row seating for these events which allows for some awesome photos. With all the photos I take it gives me the perfect reason to scrap them! I'm hoping to share some of those with all of you! I'm so excited to be part of this wonderful team and hope to inspire and be inspired along the way.

Donna Smith
"I've been crafting for 4½ years, I started off scrapbooking, using my dog as my subject and then moved onto cardmaking and  decoupage as most people do, and eventually got into stamping. I am quite the collector of rubber stamps, papers, dies, punches ....basically anything craft related. I also design papers for crafting, and have been doing that for 4½ years as well. My style of cardmaking is similar to scrapbooking, in that I love to fill the front with lots to look at, as in flowers, ribbon, embellishments,  you name it, I love to stick it on the front of my card. I don't do clean and simple very well, as the card looks bare to me. I've been using Cheery Lynn dies since I first discovered them in the spring, and I love all the intricate details that are on the dies, and I love adding one or more to my cards. I'm originally from Canada and moved to England back in the summer of 1999.......and I still miss the hot summers of Saskatchewan. I'm married to a wonderful understanding man, who lets me indulge in this expensive hobby of mine, and will often come up with ideas for me, and if it requires measuring weird angles, etc........he's the one to help me out. We have four wonderful grandchildren and a super intelligent Jack Russell named Kody."

Gini Cagle I have always loved everything vintage - and that has really influenced my work. Even as a little girl, I collected beaded purses and antique clothes, and had boxes of old photos and ephemera. And yeah, this was all by the time I was 9 years old. So I guess I was that quirky kid that everyone just kind of thought marched to her own drum.  That early sense of style lead to someone who has a passion to create, who is confident in her own designs,  but who also appreciates the historic influences of the past. I have been crafting all of my life, in one form or another. I was a very successful bead artist. I had my work published in over a dozen books and magazines, and lectured and taught all over the country, but...my beaded pieces took 500-1000 hours to complete. About 10 years ago, I started scrapbooking, when my first nephew was born. I instantly fell in love with the immediacy of the medium (compared to the crazy hours I spent beading!) In the past several years, I have really gotten serious with the craft and love finding new ways to take my pieces to the next level.  It's really funny to look at any of my work, from bead work to paper and to be able to see the same style emerge, regardless of the medium.  I have always loved dimension, and color and layers.  Paper crafting is really a family thing for me. My sister and I used to get together once a week to craft, but now she has moved right next door, so it's one big paper party! I can't leave out that my five year old nephew thinks it's really cool to scrapbook with his aunt and mommy! My husband doesn't ever craft with me, but he is my biggest cheerleader, and is always supportive of what I do. We have been married for a little over two years. We have a fairytale romance - we knew each other in high school and were friends, but went over 20 years without any contact, and reconnected on Facebook and quickly knew we were meant to be together. I work as a dental hygienist, so creating with paper is always a welcomed release!  I absolutely love Cheery Lynn Designs - they have such an elegant style, and cut even the most intricate dies beautifully. I am thrilled to be able to share some of my creations that I've made  with them.

Irit Shalom
My name is  IRIT and I am from sunny ISRAEL. In my "real life" I am a dentist, but for the last 4 years I do it as a part time job, because I need some extra time  for my scrapping and crafting addiction and I  have a lot of fun doing something else after 25 years of dentistry. I have been married for 28 years to a retired high police officer, who is the full time family cook these days.  I am a mom to 4 grown ups: 2 sons and twin daughters. The empty nest is probably the main reason for my obsession for crafting - finally I have some time for myself.  My oldest son is an  army officer, married and will be a dad in about 8 weeks. The second one is " a world traveler" - for the last 4 years after his army service he is out of Israel for at least 9 months a year- lives and works in Spain. My twins are in their second year of college and my  major scrapbooking inspiration.   I need to say that I have been totally addicted to crafting since I was a little girl. For many years it was a  polymer clay and jewelry making, but after I saw a scrapbook layout for the first time in my life (only 5 years ago during my visit to USA), I  finally understood  that I am in love with paper. Today I mostly scrap and do altered art and less card making.   I have been a  design team member in about 9-10 challenge blogs and was a guest designer on lots of others  during the last year, but now I decided to do some real design work and don't take any challenge blogs DT  spots anymore.  Right now I  am a permanent designer  for UK chipboard company named Tando creative, for an Australian shop named Scrap with V and a staff member on SNR web magazine. I was published in print in Israel several times and was published in every possible web magazine during the last year. Last, but not least- my other addiction is..... folk dancing. So if I am not in my crafting room- I am probably dancing.  I am totally thrilled to be a part of this great DT here and hope to do my best.

Jeannie DeGruccio
I am so excited to be part of Cheery Lynn Designs. I am looking forward to creating some fun things to inspire!  Who am I?  Well, I am Jeannie, I am a mom of 7 kids, ranging from 19 down to 3 years.  Yes they are all mine...same mom, same dad.  22 years of marriage and we are still working together, making it up as we go along.  With as many kids as I have, crafting has become a form of therapy for me.  I have to say, I enjoy all crafts, but paper is my passion.  Cards, scrapping, home decor?  If it can be done with paper, I am up for the challenge.  I love it all.  If I had to describe my style, I would say that I am a whimsical paper artist. I have been a fan of Mary Engelbreit since before she was born.  Well not really but, I have loved her FOREVER.  My hope is to inspire people to find their own style.  Everyone has one, they just have to tap into it.  “I CAN’T” should never be in anyone's vocabulary when it comes to creating.  I hope you enjoy the projects I will create and share.

Joann Jamieson
Hi everyone, my name is Joann and I live in Nova Scotia, Canada.  I am married and have one son who is in The Royal Canadian Navy and is currently stationed in Victoria, British Columbia.  I am also lucky to have a very supportive husband who understands and supports my passion for anything paper and glue!  In addition, we have a cat named Squeaker who tends to drink water with her paw and insists on having fresh ice water!  I think she is a little spoiled...  She also has a weakness for ice cream but that is another story.  I work full-time but when I am not at my day job you can find me in my craft room.  As much as I enjoy card marking, I must admit that my "obsession" is with dimensional projects.  I like to think “outside the box”.  I also have a big weakness for paper.  Every time I go into a store I see more paper that I do not have and I am running out of room to store everything.  I have already converted one room in my house into my scrapbooking studio and am now eying the next room.  I am so thrilled and excited to be a joining the talented ladies on the Cheery Lynn Design Team.

Jodi Baune
I am a dedicated, fun-loving country girl with two boys ages18 and 22, and an amazing husband.  I am very blessed that they are extremely supportive of my hobby.  I am the shy, quiet type...most of the time :) I am a weird mix of girly girl and tom boy. Pedicures are awesome, but I'm not afraid to dip my pretty toes in a puddle or two! Pretty much, I am just the girl next door. During the day  I tend to seven precious small children by operating a daycare business in my home.  Some of my other interests include gardening, reading, and browsing through antique shops for inspiration.I love vintage!

Leslierahye
I am Leslierahye, wife of 21 years to my soul mate. Mother to two amazing free-willed beings--son Will, 13, and daughter Samantha, 7. Daughter of devoted, loving parents. I've been crafting and creating since before I can remember, dabbling in everything from sewing, to oil painting, to scrapbooking, to photography to beadwork to crafty crafts--and many things in between. I've gifted my work. I've sold my work. I've used my work. I love to share projects and techniques with crafters of all skills. I continue to explore in creativity to keep myself fresh. I love mixed media and upcycled crafting. I love making my own embellishments to coordinate with my projects. While I am not new to creating with die cuts, I am somewhat new to Cheery Lynn Designs. As soon as I was introduced to the system of Floral Shoppe dies and Build a Flower dies, I was hooked! I love the look of flowers on my projects and I LOVE LOVE the idea of creating my own flowers--Cheery Lynn's flower dies are amazing and so easy to use in every facet of my art.

 Lori Williams

Hi, I’m Lori Williams and I am a happy, fun loving, Southern girl who lives in the Western North Carolina mountains. I have been a huge fan of Cheery Lynn Dies for some time.  I have two beautiful little boys who keep me running as they are 7 and 12 and full of energy. Cole is my youngest and it’s hard to hold him down. Will is my oldest son and is disabled. Getting out of the house with him is a bit more challenging so I’m blessed to be able to share with the world my art, yet be at home with him. I live right next door to my best friend and sister who also serves on Cheery Lynn’s Design Team (Gini).  Let me tell you we are a dangerous pair at a scrapbook expo, each enabling the other. As you can tell my family is really my world and I love to be with them. I’ve always participated in art in one form or the other, starting with pottery, then receiving a college degree in Jewelry/ Metal Production crafts and finally into paper with the birth of my oldest son. Art is my form of therapy and my addiction and I love to try new techniques. Don’t be surprised if you see me trying to sneak some metal into my pieces.  I would describe my work as detailed, yet clean.  I’m so blessed to be on this team and look forward to sharing my creations with you.

I am thrilled to be working once more with Cheery Lynn Designs as part of their 2012/2013 design team.  My name is Sandie, and I live in Geraldton, Western Australia with my partner John, and we are older parents to a beautiful son, Jesse who is 3 in March, 2013. I am currently a stay-at-home-Mum with previous employment being law enforcement.   Creativity has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and runs in the gene's with my Mother being an Artist.  My love of paper-crafting took place two years ago, and it has been a journey of enlightenment, that has continually evolved, with many new learning paths.   I enjoy pushing boundaries in my creativity, and attempt to step out of my comfort zone here and there, with my creative style leaning towards 'vintage', but not always.  I aim to be an inspiration to others, and of course create everlasting memories for future generations.

They are my whole life and the subject of almost all of my layouts. My man, Rob and I have been together 12 years and he is amazing about my love for this craft and supports me in every part of it including my spending. I am really excited to be on the DT and look forward to sharing my creation using the gorgeous products at Cheery Lynn…

Tamara Morton
Hi I'm Tamara, married to a fabulous hubby that is very understanding and supports me through my crafting addiction. We have a beautiful daughter, Savannah who brings us joy and happiness each and everyday. I started paper crafting in 2005 after receiving a handmade card from my cousin it inspired me so much I thought I would give it a go, since then I've been hooked. The first major craft item I purchased was the Sizzix Big Shot which is still going strong today with my crafting space going from the dining table to a purpose build cabin at the bottom of the garden and I have to say I think I might need a bit more space. I can be found there most days with glitter, glue, sticky pads and Copic's all around (a girl in heaven).  I am so thrilled and honoured to be designing for Cheery Lynn, they are the best dies on the market.
