Happy Easter!

12:30 AM 0 Comments

Laurie here from Stamping Up North sharing an Easter card today!

I started out with one of my favorite dies....Cheery Lynn's Funny Bunny. He always makes me smile. This time I stuck him inside an Easter basket, and added a few eggs for good measure.

I adhered a small pink flower onto the basket from the Floral Bouquet Kit. Then I backed it all onto a nesting doll oval and lattice.

Here's a list of the dies I used:

Cheery Lynn Baby Card Set with Laurie

12:30 AM 2 Comments

Laurie here sharing a sweet baby card set today featuring Cheery Lynn's Boy's Outfit and Girl's Dress dies.

These dies are SO adorable and have such great detail!

I started out with some gingham paper in various colors. For my first card I used some pink, and added some Nesting Doll Circles, with the cute baby dress. The bow is from The Christmas Wreath set, with a pearl in the center. At the top I added the sentiment, " Baby."

For my second card I used some blue gingham and the Nesting Doll Ovals along with the Boy's Outfit. Those little bibs are adorable!
I added some pearls on the straps and by the sentiment.

For the third card I used some lavender gingham and did some layering with the scalloped rectangle, pierced circles, and the Mandy Doily. Once again I added some pearls and the sentiment, "Baby."

Here's a list of the dies I used:

Wedding Cheers from Laurie Schmidt

12:30 AM 1 Comments
Laurie here from Stamping Up North sharing a wedding card with you today. I love going to weddings! My favorite part is the reception and listening to all of the toasts. Some are so funny, and some of course are real tear jerkers! Either way, they are always fun and so special.

I decided to use the glasses from the Celebration die set on my "Cheers" wedding card. (The set also comes with an awesome wine bottle too.) I added some tiny flowers from the Mandy Doily die, and  the tiny fanciful flourish to decorate the glass stems. The cake set has 6 pieces, and is very versatile....it can be used for birthdays or any occasion. I added a bow from the Christmas Wreath set to decorate the cake. I backed it all on a nesting doll oval, adhering some pearls here and there.

Then I added "Cheers!"

Here's a list of the dies I used:

Dreams by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Hi everyone, it's JULIE here today hosting the blog and today I am sharing inspiration using one of Cheery Lynn's beautiful Cardmaker Dies. These Dies are amazing at forming the background to your card and give a lovely elegant touch.

I started by cutting out my Cardmaker Die and heat Embossing some Stampendous Shabby Blue onto the edges and layering onto my patterned paper.

My centre sentiment was stamped and some Embossing powder added to the edges to help frame it. Next I mounted onto my frame with foam strips.

My bird was shaded with Distress Inks and a Fineliner pen, nesting it along side my foliage and Daisies.

My large Shasta Daisies were shaded with ink and shaped on my Embossing mat. I added a small foam ball to the centres along with a layer of glue and Flower soft into the centres.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Easter Egg Hunt by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi everyone, it's JULIE here today and I thought I would share some inspiration for an Easter card in a vintage design.

Cheery Lynn have many cute Easter Dies that embellish our crafty designs so well. My sweet little chicks were diecut from a yellow patterned cardstock and I coloured their beaks and feet with Copic Pens and added a touch of Black Liquid Pearls for their eyes.

My rabbit was also cut in patterned paper adding a fluffy cotton tail and some Liquid Pearls also to his eye.

My Stackers were all layered up in different shades of paper adding a little cheesecloth behind my image.

Cheery Lynn Dies Used -

Thanks so much for stopping by today to see my card and I hope you have a lovely creative week.

Crafty Hugs,
Julie x
