"Love"ly card - with New Release Dies

Hello Everyone...This is Jeannie with a beautiful card to show off some of the new release of Cherry Lynn Designs dies.

In the top left corner I have used the new Butterfly Out die.

The bird on the branch is a combination of the new Hummingbird die and Embellishment #2 set.

The delicate flower is made from the Build a Flower #2 Plate.

I've embellished some of the flowers and the butterfly with some i-rocks from Imaginisce, leftover from our fun joint swap with them.

My card is based on a design and products from a kit from Deena Ziegler.

I hope you have enjoyed my creation today. I live for making these weekly creations, I really do!

Cheery Lynn Designs are magical to work with and this new release, WOW!! That about says it all!

Altered Notebooks With Imaginisice & Cheery Lynn Designs

Hasn't this been a fantastic week of fun here at Cheery Lynn Designs.

I have had so much fun seeing all the creations with the Imaginisisce papers and products.

I have created a set of altered notebooks.

They are made from basic composition books that you can get from your local office supply store. The ones that look like this:

But with a little imagination, Imaginisce products and Cheery Lynn Designs Dies, you can create some adorable purse notebooks.

The dies I have used on these are, Flip Flops, Fanciful Flourish, Buttons 1, Zig Zag Ric Rac, Stacker Flower 3 and Fish.

I love making these. I think that the more bright and colorful the papers are, the better the "purse" turns out.

I also used Imaginisce's i-rock tool to adhere some colorful hot rocks to both purses.

The large SUN KISSED DIE CUTS are so cute and the girl on the purse I think is the perfect touch!

Hi, it's Gini here today, hopping over from my normal post on the Cheery Lynn Designs Inspiration Blog, to share with you a shaped card for this week's challenge. It's been such a fun week at Cheery Lynn Designs and Imaginisce! The CLD DT each recieved a very generous package from Imaginisce, from their Makin' Waves Collection.

This week our challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs is

Shaped Cards

Here are the rules:

You MUST follow the theme and use at least one Cheery Lynn Designs die, of course, we would love to see more than one.
You MUST add a link to your blog post in the InLinkz at the end of that post; no back posting, only new projects are allowed
You MUST link to our Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge blog in your post
You may only enter the challenge ONCE per week.

The winner will be chosen based on merit by Cheery Lynn Designs. They will receive a $20 coupon for shopping at the Cheery Lynn website. The challenge will end on Sunday night at 22:00 Eastern time.

In addition, our design team members will be voting on 3 favorites who will receive a Weekly Spotlights badge to display on their blog. Be sure to come back on Wednesday to see who earned the badge.

I knew as soon as I saw the papers, I wanted to make a shaped surfboard, and while this one is a card, it would also make a really fun embellishment for a scrapbook page.

I used two different patterned papers for my surfboard background. To embellish it, I cut apart the Victorian Romance Flourish and it really looked perfect! Down the middle of the board, I put half a border of the Daisy Lace Bracelet. A flower made with Judy's Blooms completed my cuts.

My sentiment was from the Sun Kissed Die Cuts. I used chipboard flowers and the "vacation fun" circle from the Hot Summer Days Chipboard Stickers to add to my embellishment cluster.

Hot Summer Day with Imaginisce and Cheery Lynn Designs

All this week the Cheery Lynn Designs team and the Imaginisce Design team are creating together. So each day until Sunday the 12th, both teams will be creating with these fabulous products. Our challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge blog is to make a shaped card so I got out my Scalloped French Flair LG Stackers die for the card base and the coordinating Silver French Flair Stackers for the DP panels to create this easel card for you.

Using Stacker Flower 2, Stacker Flower 3, Stacker Flower 4, Stacker Flower 5 and Stacker Flower 6 as well as the stamens from the Build a Flower 1 set, I created these fun flowers. I used my iTop to create the matching brads in the flower centers. The sentiment and the cute flip flops are chipboard stickers from the Imaginisce Makin' Waves collection. I added Dottie's Ric Rac to the center border on the base of the card. Finished size is 5.5 inches.

***** Edited: when I woke up this morning, I decided my card needed some leaves so I added Mini Fanciful Flourish. I think this is the perfect addition.*****

Now I'd like to share a project I made with my Cheery Lynn dies and Imaginisce Making Waves Collection. A few weeks ago we took a trip to take care of my grandkids while my son and his wife got some down time from the everyday hustle. We had so much fun! Their city has a small water park, so we packed a lunch and hit the water! When I saw the Making Waves collection I knew it would be perfect for my water park photos! Thanks Imaginisce!!

I used the Mega Fanciful Flourish, Cherry Blossom. To created the borders I used the Border Carnivale and the French Pastry Doily.

Right onto my project for this week. I wanted to try something different and came up with a modified tent card. The bottom opens out to reveal an area to write your sentiment.
