Celebrate with Roses Card

3:30 AM 0 Comments
A warm hello to you. Glad to see you here. It's Debbie with you  from Debbie's Time Out. Today I am sharing a card with you combining the Step Card die with the Pop Up "Celebrate" die.

I started  with the A2 Fancy Step Card as my base. I cut the Pop Up Celebrate  from a piece of flowered paper and layered it to the center of the step card. The "Celebrate" was inked up with distress inks.  I cut a piece of flowered paper to fit behind the scrolls of the step card.

Here I lave layered three different die cut outs to the center of the step card. The Fleur De Lis Square DoilyDusty Miller Square and the Vintage Tile in that order.

Next came the flower arrangement. All were cut in white and inked with distress inks. I placed two of the  Tiny Fanciful Flourish on two corners opposite each other. I then created roses using the medium- Rose and the Tea Rose small. I added a couple of yellow Darling Daisies  to each side of the rose. I cut and used the Branch as greenery around the flowers. This is a simple card to make  but with the fancy step card and the dies I choose to use it turns out to be a very elegant card that anyone would love to receive.  Until next time have a crafty day my friends.

Merry Christmas Tag with Cheryl Walker

1:30 AM 1 Comments
Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Thursday to you all!
Today I have a super fun and easy Christmas tag to share, and if you like fast and easy, then this one would be perfect!

All layers are cut out in white, I used 4 dies, and will list them below. I then just glued the Mandala Doily 1 to the Royal Scandinavia Doily, and then popped the Dusty Miller Square to them using foam tabs.  I did the same with the Mirror tag, after stamping my sentiment of course. The sentiment was stamped in black ink. The holly and berries were colored using Copic markers.  I did use a white on white design paper for those, that is why you see a print. Love the look it gives though.

The tag takes less than 10 minutes to make, and if you prep enough for more tags, it will go by even faster. I think these are perfect for Christmas gifts. Last year I did at least 1 for each person.

Cheery Lynn Supplies Used:
DL280 Royal Scandinavia Doily (used for the base of my tag)
DL326 Mandala Doily 1
B884 Dusty Miller Square
CABD74 Mirror
B846 Christmas Bell 7  (for holly and berries)
S165 Best Glue Ever
Big Sister Die cutting machine

Other supplies:
Really Reasonable Ribbon Satin and foam squares
Stamp by JustRite Designs

Thank you so much for looking and have a lovely day!

Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Hello to all you Cheery Lynn fans. It's Debbie from Debbie's Time Out sharing a vintage card with you.
I am using a few of the newer dies from the vintage collection. In the center I have layered the Dusty Miller Square , Vintage Tile, and the Decorative Bird Cage in that order. I added one of the birds from the  Birds of Earth and Sky  set. To the corners I used the  Dusty Miller Frame Corner.  I stamped the Thank You  sentiment onto one the of the Weathered Scrolls.
A couple of fussy cut butterflies finished off this card.

Happy Turkey Day by Debbie Brownmiller

3:30 AM 1 Comments
Hello to all my crafty friends. It's Debbie with you today from Debbie's Time Out. Here in Canada we celebrate Thanksgiving this coming weekend so I thought I would share a Thanksgiving card with you today.
I started my card with a piece of patterned paper that already had different patterns and colors as well as pumpkins and ric rac designs on it.
I sat the turkey from the Happy Turkey Day set  on top of the pumpkins.  This turkey always makes me smile with his sign " Eat Beef ".  And he is cute too.  The sentiment Happy Turkey Day is from this same set. I then tucked in some of the vines from the Fall Pumpkin Patch  set around the top of the pumpkins.
In the top corner I layered part of the Dusty Miller Square  and  then layered several of the leaves cut from the vines of  the Fall Pumpkin Patch  set.
Here is a photo showing all the different die cuts I used to create this card front.

Just for fun if you go to check out my blog at https://debbiestimeout.blogspot.ca/   you will notice I used the same paper and two of the same dies for the card I posted last time and for this card. One is a Halloween theme  and one is a Thanksgiving theme. These dies are always so versatile.

Thanks so much for checking out the blog today and for the comments you leave. It is always nice to hear what you have to say. Have a wonderful day my crafty friends.

I Need Coffee by Debbie Brownmiller

3:30 AM 0 Comments
A warm Hello to you. Nice to see you here. It's Debbie from Debbie's Time Out hosting the blog today. With October just around the corner I thought I would have a little Halloween fun.  So I designed this Halloween card.
I started with a piece of Halloween printed paper as my base and matted it in grey and black.
I love the coffee cup from the last release and I wanted to incorporate it into a Halloween card. I thought the sentiment " Hocus Pocus I need coffee to Focus" was perfect for the cup sleeve. And then there is the  bottle of sugar and scream for the coffee.
I placed the Dusty Miller Square  near the top of the card and added a button to the center of it.  I then layered the Witch Hat  and the coffee cup from the Brew Can Do It   set.  I layered flourishes from the  Fall Pumpkin Patch  set for the top corners and a bit tucked behind the hat.
Here I cut both Bottles and printed sugar on one and scream on the other one. Again I tucked in a couple more flourishes. The cat is one of three from the Friendly Felines  set.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing this card as much as I enjoyed making it to share with you. If you haven't seen the new Halloween dies that were just released then you should check them out. There are some nice ones.

Please leave a comment and have a wonderful crafty day my friends..
