Olive You 12" x 12" Layout with Cheryl Walker

2:30 AM 0 Comments
Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today's layout is using Cheery Lynn's beautiful dies to adorn this page. I love the Sweet William Flowers on this, they are pretty simple to make, as all I did was distress them and then glue them using the Best Glue Ever from Cheery Lynn.

For the page itself I used the Club Scrap Trattoria collection for all card stock and design papers. Next for the corner brackets I used Cheery Lynn's Dusty Miller Framed Corners B883

The flowers were done using Cheery Lynn's Sweet William Strip and the red card stock from the Trattoria kit. I did distress each flower using Club Scraps Hybrid Ruby ink for the petals, and then added some pearls from Really Reasonable Ribbon to each. The greenery behind the flowers are cut with Cheery Lynn's Flourish #8 and Club Scraps Green card stock. The flowers were put together using Cheery Lynn's Best Glue Ever.

For the little Olive You tag -
I cut it using Cheery Lynns Dutch Daisy Tag and brown card stock. Next I used the same cream card stock that I cut the French Pastry Mega Doily with for my tags sentiment.

I added one of the birds from the  Birds of Earth and Sky  set. To the corners I used the  Dusty Miller Frame Corner.  I stamped the Thank You  sentiment onto one the of the Weathered Scrolls.
A couple of fussy cut butterflies finished off this card.

Autumn's Loveliest Smile Card by Amy Voorthuis

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Good morning Cheery Lynn Fans.
Autumn is upon us again and here where I live the weather is showing us all the beauty of it! Falling leaves and changing colors but also my least favorite part, the heavy wind and the rainy days. Today is a day like that and it's my day off work but it is a day to stay in bed under the warm covers....  For today I'd like to share an Autumn card with you all using almost all the leaf dies Cheery Lynn Designs offers.

Autumn's Loveliest Smile:

For this card I used all Maja Design papers from different collections but mostly "Walking in the Forest"! All the dies I used where cut out a couple of weeks back but I never used them. I am hooked on Cheery Lynn's leaf dies because you can use them for every occasion and this time it's an Autumn card. It was really hard to take a picture because it is very windy today and I take all my pictures outside....and my card almost flew away haha. lol

Maggi's Friendship Card and Tutorial

3:30 AM 2 Comments
Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a friendship card that I made for all of my internet friends.  I have met so many wonderful people online through this obsessive hobby of mine!  Just last week, I traveled to Seattle to meet up with friends that I met via the internet and scrapbooking.

I used Graphic 45's new collection, Penny's Paper Doll Family, and several dies from Cheery Lynn Designs to make this simple card.  I started out with a card base that is 3 1/2" x 6" and then adhered a layer diecut with the  A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped 7 pc Die Set.  At  the top and bottom I added paper lace diecut with the Dancing Doily Lace Border.  I topped that with a cut-apart from the Paper Doll collection.

I filmed a tutorial showing you how I put this card together.

Close up of the lacy border topped with pearls.

I made this pretty flower with the  Black Eyed Susan Flower die.  This is definitely a favorite die, I just love the floral center!  You can see how to make this flower in my video.

The inside is simple, leaving plenty of room to write a message.

I'm sending all of you cyber-smiles and thanking you for following me and leaving the kind comments that you do on my work!  ðŸ’•

Shabby Chic Card with Cheryl Walker

3:30 AM 1 Comments
Hello crafty friends, and Happy Saturday to you all! Today I have this super sweet Shabby Chic card I created using some beautiful Cheery Lynn Dies. It was fun creating all the layers using different Cheery Lynn dies, so hope you enjoy my post for today.  I did try to keep this one short :)

To start with, I used this pretty Graphic45 design paper that I had sitting around in a container with some of my other baby design papers, and then started my layering on the second layer using Cheery Lynn's DL20 Royal Scandinavian Doily, then B889 Vintage Bracket Shape, B682 Quadrafoil Tag , B891 Ornate Crowns , B883 Dusty Miller frame corners, love how all the layers on this look.  It turned out so pretty with all layers using Cheery Lynn Designs Dies!

Lastly I added some Viva Pearls using the cream Viva Pearl pen. Love how easy this was to do.

I hope you enjoyed my post for today! Thank you for looking and enjoy your weekend!

Hugs to all,
Cheryl

If God Brings You To It; He Will Bring You Through It with Bonnie Garby

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hi friends.  Bonnie from Make Time to Craft here with you today with a card showcasing some more of the new vintage dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.
I just love the new Dusty Miller Square and Dusty Miller Corner dies.  They are just so versatile.  I tend to stick with 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" square cards though and the corners were just a little too big.  This was easily remedied by snipping them where the to parts meet up and layering them.  They then became just the right size for this card.
My card design is pretty straight forward.  I created a piece of background paper using Distress Inks in old paper, antique linen and frayed burlap.  That was layered on a piece of dark brown and then I added my die cuts.

Next I added a layered strip of ribbon and secured it on the back of the large dark brown base.  Then I added a layer of natural mulberry paper with torn edges.  That was then adhered to my card base.

I stamped my sentiment on to a piece of the Distress Ink paper and cut with the Vintage Bracket Shape die set, added a layer of kraft card stock and then backed with brown mulberry paper.  This was then added to the card over the ribbon using foam tape for some dimension.

Cheery Lynn Dies used:

My card was finished off with a pretty bi-color bow made on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using Raw Silk and Turftan Brown Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I added an antique bronze vintage flower charm to the bow center.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you are loving the New Vintage Dies that were just released at Cheery Lynn Designs.
