SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT BY ANITA KEJRIWAL

3:30 AM 2 Comments
Hi friends,
This is Anita kejriwal with another post and this time , I have brought for you a scrapbook layout adorned with most most beautiful dies from Cheery Lynn.
I have used the various doily dies to decorate the layout and a special thing that I have done is create a Lacey edge at the right corner using the Italian flourish doily which I have cut out the single petals. The flowers have been handmade using the gardenia strip along with the leaves from the build a flower die.
Please note the detailed list of supplies given below. These are all available at the cheery Lynn store
I also want to mention that all dies have been cut in the Ebosser using the E shim and believe me! Die cutting becomes effortless with this. I have also used an embossed effect on the layout using the Ebosser.
So here is my layout.

Little Wishes {Spring Layout}

Hi there!  It's me Gabrielle here with you all again today to share my second project for the month with you as Cheery Lynn's guest designer!  I had a lot of fun using the Clock w/Angel Wings die last week in a steampunk design.  But I thought it would be cool to show how versatile this die is for other designs as well.  In my l/o above I changed up the look of the clock a little by adding some flower accents to the middle of the clock design, playing up a more feminine design for the page.

I used the Sweet Williams die to make the the cream color flowers in the center of the clock.  I created a flower bud for the center using a couple of the smallest cuts from this flower die and then layered a few of the next sizes up (giving them a little water misting and a wrinkle) for the other layers.

I made a heart embellishment for the page using the Celtic heart die on white cardstock and then with a pencil marked out the heart design on some patterned paper from Maja Design to create an underlayer for the heart.

I often like to create a counter balance on my page design, for this page I put a lattice design in the top left corner.  I used the Lattice 2 die and gave it a random angle cut to appear like broken lattice.  I then finished the design with more of the Sweet Williams blooms and using portions of the Ivy Corner Flourish dies.

TIP:  I wanted to attach my lattice so that it stands away from the page a bit, but felt that adhesive foam dots can be a little tricky to apply to finer cuts and might be a little to thick.  So I used some 3D paint like Perfect Pearls to the back of the die cut piece.  When dry, I added some adhesive to the dried perfect pearls and stuck it to my page.  This gave my lattice just enough 3D effect that I was going for.

I hope you enjoyed my project for today!  I look forward to sharing some more fun projects with you all in the weeks to come! xo

Hi there, Susan Longman here. I have a layout to share this week using the gorgeous Exotic Butterfly Large #2-DL118 and Small Exotic Butterflies-DL112AB as the feature.

On the cardstock have used the English Tea Party Doily as a mask and inked over it to create the background effect. I have layered up some patterned papers over the large butterfly. To complete the embellishment I have used the Large and Medium Rose Strips and created flower clusters. Included under on the flowers for leaves are the Olive Branches die.

Doilies and Flowers by Susan Longman

3:30 AM 3 Comments
Hi Susan Longman here, today I am sharing a layout created using some of the gorgeous doily and flower dies that Cheery Lynn has to offer.

“Love you” layout by Susan LongmanSusan Longman20_1

Using the beautiful English Tea Party Doily as a backdrop for my picture, I layered it over several panels of DP and two white Horizon Coved Rectangles.  I added just a bit of ink to the lacy edge of the Coved Rectangles.

Using my Medium Rose die, I stacked and shaped the petals adding a bit of ink along the edges to create the white roses.

For the gold flowers, I used my Gardenia Strip, just molding and layering for a gorgeous full flower.  Adding some white Fanciful Flourishes completed my layout.

Cheery Lynn Dies Used:

I hope you like this and it inspires you to use your dies on layouts too.  Be sure to check out this week's Lace challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping credit at Cheery Lynn Designs.

Have fun creating… Susan
