Easter Basket with Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hello! Thanks for stopping by today! Sharing a new Easter Basket this year using lots of Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts. I have been making several cards for the upcoming holiday and I made a couple of different baskets for treats and tea lights over the years. Today I have a new version of those adorable baskets that you can set on your table with tea lights or give away as mini treat gifts.

I used 2 sets of the victorian fence. One is scored every 2 inches and glued at the ends for the square basket. The other I used the center for the basket handle. I then added a 2.25 x 2.25 inch square on the bottom. Decorate however you like. I used grass twice around the bottom, easter eggs, bunnies and chicks. The animals always get googly eyes and lastly a sheer ribbon bow on top.

A view with the tea light. Just love this basket!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great week!

Birthday Pop Up Card with Cheryl Walker

1:30 AM 0 Comments

Hello crafty friends and Happy Saturday to you all! Today's Cheery Lynn Pop Up 3-D card is done on the outside and the inside, as I've used 2 of the NEW 3-D pop up dies for this. I also combined some of Cheery Lynn's other dies for my card. I am LOVING these 3-D Pop up Dies that Cheery Lynn Designs came out with, they are super fun to use!

To start with I used the Party! Pop up as the outside of the card. It can be used both on the inside and outside. I then added some of the sweet Pebbles design paper to the PARTY! to coordinate with the card layers. Next I cut out the dress form, oval, and frame all using the coordinating design paper in this line. Each front layer is sewn to give a bit of embellishing. I lastly added a Taffeta Bow to the front.

Cheery Lynn Supplies Used:
Pop Up Party B932
Pop Up Birthday B938
Antique Dress forms B882
Pierced Stacker #2 XL-20
M-7 Oval Classic-sm silver stacker layers 8
Best Glue Ever
Big Sister Die and Emboss machine
Crafters Tools S122
For the inside I used the Happy Birthday Pop Up and just colored it with coordinating colors.  Super easy and fun! I should have added sewing to the inside but forgot.

Thank you for stopping by, and please let me know what you thought of my card for today :)
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Happy Birthday Sports Pack

1:00 AM 2 Comments

Hi everyone!

Laurie here from Stamping up North sharing a Birthday card I made with Cheery Lynn's Sports Pack. The equipment is ALL so fun....I couldn't decide which one to use...so I used them all! Perfect for a sports fan's Birthday!

I arranged them into a group and stamped the sentiment on a pierced circle, and then adhered that onto a lattice. I added an enamel dot in the shape of a star.

The Sport Pack die set is really a great addition to your die collection. I love the detail on them all, and can think of tons of cards to make with them!

Here's a list of the dies I used:

Thank You Tag by Jenny Alia

Hi friends!  I was in a mood to make a tag.  I grabbed design paper that I never use, glued it to a tag, trimmed it and my project evolved.

I backed the circle with a piece of black cardstock for some contrast.  The flowers were made with the Gardenia strip and Build-a-flower #2 dies.  I used two different yellow-green papers for the foliage cut using the Floral Bouquet Kit.  For sparkle I added glitter glue on the Thank You Circle and rhinestones on the flower centers.

Fun at Easter by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi Cheery Lynn fans, it’s JULIE here today and I am sharing some inspiration for Easter on my card using a selection of adorable cute dies.

I started by cutting out my Quatrefoil frame in white cardstock and using the beautiful Wild Rose paper pad from Craft Consortium I started to build my background layers adding a grass border to the edge of my basket and card.

My whimsical flowers I cut from the same paper pad making sure I placed the Die onto a patterned area of the paper to make my flowers look full of soft shades. I also added a flower to the centre of my bow.

My basket was cut out in Kraft Cardstock and I highlighted the embossed areas with a Fine Liner pen. My sweet bunny is holding a couple of small Easter Eggs and he has a fluffy Pom Pom tail.

Finishing off with a cute little Bird on a branch which is on sale at present in our Clearance Section along with a vast range of other dies, so do check it out.
