Happy Christmas Camper with Laurie Schmidt

12:30 AM 1 Comments

Laurie here from Stamping Up North
I'm sharing a Christmas card today! When I first saw this Happy Camper set from the retro release, I thought it would be fun to make a Christmas scene and put the tree from the Bringing Home Christmas set on top.

I made a hill by cutting a circle in half,

and added some clouds.

Then I decorated the camper with some holly from the Christmas Wreath set.

Winter Fun with Laurie Schmidt

12:30 AM 3 Comments

Hi everyone!

Laurie here from Stamping Up North!

I hope you all had a great Christmas and are enjoying some vacation....maybe even enjoying some winter activities like this cute Snow Day Bear.
He looks like he's having lots of fun out sledding!

I made a snowy hill for him out of a pierced circle and added a few pine trees from the Bringing Home Christmas set. The background trees are cut from the Aspen Forest die. I love how it has a frame all around it...such a beautiful die!
I took some white acrylic paint, mixed it with a bit of water and made some splatters for snow with a toothbrush. Then I stamped the sentiment in black.

Merry Christmas by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi everyone, it's JULIE here and Happy Christmas to all our Cheery Lynn fans. Today I'm sharing some last minute Christmas inspiration for a fairly quick card to make should you have forgotten someone last minute or are in need of a Gift Card.

My card has all been cut out in glitter card for lots of sparkle. My Icicles have been drop shadowed with silver glitter card under the white glitter card to make them 'pop' from the white background. I also drop shadowed my sentiment.

My whimsical car I cut out in white card and then cut out my elements in glitter card trimmed the sections I wanted and glued on top of the white card, adding a couple of gems onto the wheels.

Wishing you a wonderful festive season with precious memories.

Merry Christmoose from Laurie Schmidt

12:00 AM 3 Comments

Laurie here from Stamping Up North , sharing a Christmas card I made with the Merry Christmoose die set. He's such a cutie, isn't he? I just love that smile on his face.

I gave him a red and white striped scarf, and added a Santa hat from the Snow Day Bear set, and some holly from the Christmas Wreath set.

He sure looks festive and ready for the holidays!

I adhered him onto a stitched rectangle, then tucked in a tree from the Bringing Home Christmas set.
I added a few sequins for some bling, and stamped the sentiment in black.

Season's Greetings Card

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hi there die lovers.  Bonnie here today from Make Time to Craft sharing a fun Christmas card with a couple of the new holiday dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.
I was going for a white birch tree look for the trees in the Aspen Forest A2 Frame die, so I created some paper using my hickory smoke Distress Ink pad for the trees.  The background hills were just fussy cut curved pieces of white cardstock that I edged with some light blue ink.  I created the road with a strip of grey cardstock.
I cut the car and tree with metallic blue cardstock and some green Distress Ink paper I had left from another project and I also cut some details out in red, black, silver and yellow paper and pieced them in to the appropriate area.  Season's Greetings was stamped below on the white cardstock.

I added a layer of red cardstock leaving a small border and then added white mulberry paper beneath that before adhering to my card base.

My card was topped off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two of the ribbons from the October Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope I've inspired you to get working on your holiday cards.
