Warm Winter Wishes with Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 1 Comments

Hello! Baby Its Cold outside this January! So I'm sending Warm Winter Wishes from Arizona and with Cheery Lynn Designs! Since the holidays are over now...I wasn't quite ready to make some Valentine cards...so I decided to make something perfect for the month of January.

Lots of cool blues and layering of die cuts. The "Snow Bear" is a recent die cut with Cheery Lynn Designs. He is just adorable! I layered all three of the "Banners" on top of each other. The sentiment "winter" is the smallest of the two and I placed it on top of the "pierced circles"The "icicles" are on the inside. Love the "snowflakes" too...very detailed and delicate.

Winter Fun with Laurie Schmidt

12:30 AM 3 Comments

Hi everyone!

Laurie here from Stamping Up North!

I hope you all had a great Christmas and are enjoying some vacation....maybe even enjoying some winter activities like this cute Snow Day Bear.
He looks like he's having lots of fun out sledding!

I made a snowy hill for him out of a pierced circle and added a few pine trees from the Bringing Home Christmas set. The background trees are cut from the Aspen Forest die. I love how it has a frame all around it...such a beautiful die!
I took some white acrylic paint, mixed it with a bit of water and made some splatters for snow with a toothbrush. Then I stamped the sentiment in black.

Here's a list of the dies I used:

Merry Christmoose from Laurie Schmidt

Laurie here from Stamping Up North , sharing a Christmas card I made with the Merry Christmoose die set. He's such a cutie, isn't he? I just love that smile on his face.

I gave him a red and white striped scarf, and added a Santa hat from the Snow Day Bear set, and some holly from the Christmas Wreath set.

He sure looks festive and ready for the holidays!

I adhered him onto a stitched rectangle, then tucked in a tree from the Bringing Home Christmas set.
I added a few sequins for some bling, and stamped the sentiment in black.

Let It Snow With Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hello everyone! Im sharing today a new card for Cheery Lynn Designs using the New Fall/Winter Collection! All the die cuts are adorable! I made another A2 Center Step Card and basically was inspired by the Blog Hop Banner for the new release.

Cut out some curves for the snow....and die cut 5 "classic trees" I added some sequins in red for a bit of bling. The "bear" was die cut in white and then I die cut the green scarf and red sled and layered it on top of each other. I also the same layering for the "car"

I added some liquid appliqué for the top of the "bear" hat and also on the top of the "tree"

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great weekend!
Hugs Lisa
