Birthday Wishes by Jenny Alia

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi peeps, Jenny here today sharing a birthday card.  I like to have birthday cards handy but never seem to have enough.  I really like blue and green together as a color combination and I found a paper pack that had these colors so I cut stars, added rhinestones and voila, the card was finished.

The Birthday wishes die actually came within a circle but it was so simple to cut out and use by itself, a couple of cuts with my scissors and the die works in two ways.  I love adding versatility to my supplies.

Birthday Wishes

3:30 AM 1 Comments
Hi Cheery Lynn fans.  Bonnie here from Make Time to Craft today sharing a pretty floral birthday birthday card created with several gorgeous dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.
This pretty Birthday Wishes Circle die is such a useful die to have in your stash.  Mine gets so much use.  I created some pretty Distress Ink background paper and then cut the Ankara Lace Doily (ON SALE NOW!) in white and backed it with turquoise using the Angel Wing die that comes with it.  The Birthday wishes die was layered and adhered to that with some ribbon running under it across the center of the doily.
The pretty roses were cut, inked and shaped.  Then they were assembled to create pretty three dimensional roses which are the star of the show.

My card was topped off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All Tool using two of the ribbons from the pretty Spring Color March Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The center of the bow was finished off with a delicate pearl heart shaped embellishment.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Happy crafting!

Springtime Birthday by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Hi Cheery Lynn fans, its JULIE here today. This last week in Scotland has been very cold and we have had a lot of snow and frost. Thinking of warmer days I decided to create a Birthday card using one of our latest Pop-Up Dies - Celebrate, along with spring coloured cardstock.

I shadowed layered my word Celebrate 3 times to make it pop and incorporate the colours on my card design and flowers.

My flowers were all cut out in white cardstock and shaded in the centres with some ink. Next I shaped the petals on my Embossing mat and added Flowersoft into the centres. The smaller flowers I bunched a few together in places and added single ones too for extra detail and interest.

Floral Birthday Card with Bonnie Garby

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hello Cheery Lynn die lovers!  Bonnie here today from Make Time to Craft to share a pretty birthday card that I created for my Mom featuring lots of beautiful dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.
I find that birthday cards are the most needed cards and no matter how many I make, I always seem to be behind.  This Birthday Wishes Circle Sentiment is a great addition to your die collection and it can be used over and over in different settings without looking like you are always using the same die.

I created my marbled background papers using Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks.  I just love creating my own background papers because they are always so beautiful.  I also used the Distress paper for the wording in the Birthday Wishes die.  I cut the die once in dark purple cardstock and again with the Distress Ink paper.  I then snipped out the words only and layered them on to the dark purple cut.  It also pops up the words just a little to make them stand out.

My Tea Roses were created by alternating layers of solid cardstock with Distress Ink paper.  I just love two tone roses.  I shaped the petals before layering them for a realistic rose look.
I topped my card off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using 5/8" Rose Bloom and Regal Purple Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The bow was topped off with a pretty heart shaped pearl embellishment also from RRR.

I also ran a piece of Regal Purple Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon topped with Tutti Frutti Chevron Stripe Grosgrain Ribbon across the center of the card under the sentiment.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  What's your favorite die to use when making birthday cards?

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying your day....Today I would like to share two lollipop cards. For these cards I used different collections by 49 and Market. I was not planning to make two lollipops but it just came out like that hihihi. I was making a card and whoops - I changed my mind...I normally think I want to make something like that but along the process that changes sometimes like today!

Thank You:

Birthday Wishes by Jenny Alia

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi friends!  It's Jenny here today sharing a birthday card.  Blue is one of my favorite colors and I thought I'd even match the Chrysanthemums.  The patterned card stock is double sided so I played around turning elements over to get the patterns to look best.  I really liked how the Chrysanthemums look cut from the matching patterned paper.  This is a small flower die set but it's a perfect size for cards and packs a big punch.

I used the Birthday Wishes Circle and cut a circle from the Circle Stitch and Cut Tool to add behind.  I really like the extra detailing the stitching adds on the circle.  The two larger Pierced Banners were cut using coordinating paper from the same pack.

Birthday Wishes by Debbie Brownmiller

3:30 AM 1 Comments
A warm hello to you today. It is Debbie hosting the blog today from Debbie's Time Out.  So nice to see you visiting.

There are so many beautiful papers out there that I have chosen to go with fewer dies this time and let the paper be some of the pretty design of the card along with the beautiful dies.

Here I used the French Flair Stitch and Cut Tool   to cut out this design and then cut the sentiment from the Birthday Wishes Circle to layer on top of it.

This is cut from the Ribbon Eyelet Border  die. It makes a nice base to thread ribbon through. I added some bling to it as well as bling to the sentiment. This is a nice simple and quick card to make and I think it is so pretty.

I invite you to come join our Bi Weekly challenge
@ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree.  I always enjoy to see all the entries. Have a wonderful day.
