# Dimensional Butterfly Bundles # Doily

doily blue tag - Kianel

Morning CLD friends!
Kianel here with you today to show you that a doily is not just a doily but that you can use it in many ways. I made a blue tag on which i used no less than 3 different CLD doilies: 1 to make Tilda's wings (oriental butterfly doily), 1 to make the border at the bottom of my tag (english doily) and 2 to make the big flower ( french doily and what was left of the english doily). I painted everything with ink and shimmer paints, embossed the tag and painted and inked it, finally add some embellishments and my Tilda stamp from Magnolia's last collection and voilĂ !
And here is a picture showing you all the shimmer and the "oriental butterfly doily" from CLD of which i cut the middle part to give Tilda those beautiful wings:
Here is a close up of the border i made cutting out the edge of the "english doily" CLD die:
The flower is made from what was left of the "english doily" CLD die (i.e piece of edge that i flipped and circle of the center which i used as a base) and the edge of the "french doily" CLD die that i flipped ang glued.
Picture of the same flower but showing you the shimmer and layers:
And finally here is a close up of the tag's background which i embossed using the CLD embossing plate called "hearts and rose leaves" (to get a better embossing, i also used the XL embossing mats and metal adaptator that CLD does for Cuttlebug users like me):
And picture of the same background showing you the shimmer:
Here are the products i've used so click on the pictures to come directly to the product:

I also wanted to show you this little basket i made with the fantastic "Big wicker" that CLD released for the CHA. So clever to flate (is that the correct word???) and i just love it!!! Ideal to put some candies on a birthday party table or just to offer some chocolates to your beloved ones!
Here are the CLD products i used for this mini basket:

That's all for me, have a beautiful sunday and see you next week! And don't forget to pop up here everyday to see the masterpieces of my DTmates!
Love from France, Kianel.

Answering to Edna here: the white flower in the middle is a ready made flower from my stash. But i am pretty sure it will be possible to make one smaller with the doilies as you can the edge to whatever size you like!
