Every Day of Your Life - by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi Cheery Lynn fans, it’s JULIE here today and I’m sharing some inspiration with our Cardmaker Dies. These are great Dies for putting a statement on your card especially if you need a card last minute for someone.

I started by matting my Cardmaker layer onto a layer of cardstock a few shades darker. Next I stamped my sentiment and mounted onto the same colour of card used in my background. This was then added onto my card with an accent of my Tag die behind and flourishes offset to the sides.

My flowers have been shaded with Distress Inks adding Flowersoft into the centres of the smaller ones and a sparkly gem into my Daisy.

Live, Dream, Love Card with Corina Finley

3:30 AM 2 Comments
Hello!

Thank you for joining me today, Corina, for today's post on the Cheery Lynn Blog. I have created a simple vintage card that could be used for a variety of occasions.

I used the A2 Frames Rectangular for the base and top layer. I cut two rectangles from Kraft cardstock. The third layer edge is paper distressed and the second layer was embossed using the Burlap Embossing Plate.

I layered two of the Coved Rectangle die cuts. I cut the largest out of black patterned paper and added detail using the Coved Rectangle Stitch die. I stamped my sentiment on the Coved Rectangle cut one size smaller and heat embossed in black.

For my border along the top, I cut strips of pattern paper, layered them and added the Anastasia Border to the top and bottom. Wrapped twine around it and tied in a bow.

Heartfelt Wishes Card by Corina Finley

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hello Fellow Crafters!

Corina here, I have a Heartfelt Wishes Card to share with you this week.

First, I created the flowers inspired by the pattern paper, then designed the card. I used pewter embossing powder on the flower centers, Tropical Flourish and the sentiment. I embossed the leaves from the Rose Leaf Strip and the Miniature Rose (center of large flower) with holographic embossing powder.

Above is a view of the depth and dimension that creating with the variety of Cheery Lynn Flower dies allow you to achieve. Love it!

This card came together with ease - I have not had such a good, ideas working out, time flies by, relaxing creative night in along time!

The base was created by layering two pattern papers on to a white card base. I covered the seam with a die cut from the Deutschland Border SetI cut out the Coved Rectangle Classic Stackers in pattern paper and white cardstock. I embossed the white cardstock with my Heartfelt Wishes sentiment. I matted each on a Scalloped Coved Rectangle. I used the Ankara Lace Border on the left hand side of the card and layered my flowers, leaves and flourishes on top.

North Pole Snowflake Card with Corina Finley

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Hello and Happy September!

Even though Fall is upon us, I wanted to share my favourite Christmas Card. I have created this card using two Snowflake dies from the July Release, the Snowflake Delight 1 and the Snowflake Set 1.

Below is a comparison of both die designs and sample of the die used on my card.

Snowflake Set 1

Snowflake Delight 1

I used a simple layering combo for my card. I mention simple because the dies cut out with ease, add with a little adhesive - your work is done!

Starting from the base which was cut using Coved Rectangle Classic, I layered the Coved Rectangle - Scalloped to the Coved Rectangle Classic and added the largest Pierced Stacker #1 on top. I placed the Dancing Snow Flurries backed onto cardstock to the center of the card.  I trimmed the Paris Signs 4 down so I only had the label area and layered it on top of two Pierced Stacker #1 cardstock die cuts. To finish the card off, I added the layered Snowflakes with rhinestones!
