North Pole Snowflake Card with Corina Finley

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Hello and Happy September!

Even though Fall is upon us, I wanted to share my favourite Christmas Card. I have created this card using two Snowflake dies from the July Release, the Snowflake Delight 1 and the Snowflake Set 1.

Below is a comparison of both die designs and sample of the die used on my card.

Snowflake Set 1

Snowflake Delight 1

I used a simple layering combo for my card. I mention simple because the dies cut out with ease, add with a little adhesive - your work is done!

Starting from the base which was cut using Coved Rectangle Classic, I layered the Coved Rectangle - Scalloped to the Coved Rectangle Classic and added the largest Pierced Stacker #1 on top. I placed the Dancing Snow Flurries backed onto cardstock to the center of the card.  I trimmed the Paris Signs 4 down so I only had the label area and layered it on top of two Pierced Stacker #1 cardstock die cuts. To finish the card off, I added the layered Snowflakes with rhinestones!

You're in My Thoughts by Karen Maldonado

3:30 AM 3 Comments

Hello there!  It's Karen sharing a shabby & thoughtful card with you today!

To create this card, I used three of the six layers from
the new Pierced Stacker #1 set!
I die cut them using different designer papers.
and placed it onto the bigger Pierced Stacker.

Then, I took the Royal Scandinavian Doily, and die cut it onto designer paper.
I took that piece and glued it to the pierced piece that has the
sentiment stamped on it.  I really like this extra effect this adds!

I complimented the papers by making three shabby Black Eyed Susan flowers.
I added the Leafy Flourish amongst the flowers...

Dog Lover Card by Corina Finley

3:30 AM 3 Comments

Happy Friday May 1st to you!

Corina here with you today, to share a card I have created using the new Pet Pack (Set of 11) and Meow! & Woof! (Set of 2) from the New Release last month.

I also used two stackers from the Pierced Stacker #1 (Set of 6). It think it resembles the shape of a fire hydrant and that always makes me think of our K9 friends!

I wanted to incorporate a Cheery Lynn Flower because......well......I am addicted! So I create the Judy's Blooms flower by cutting the large die out twice. Layered them together and placed it on top of some looped twine and foliage.

I then added a paw from the new release to the center. To get the embossed effect, use a rubber mat under your die. I then added a little glitter glue to the cut out area.

I cut the WOOF sentiment out of cardstock and added brown glitter glue on top. I also glittered the bone in the top left corner and the paw print on the heart page tab. The paw print on the page tab is the negative from the embossed paw print on the flower.

Tip: when trying to recreate the paw print with the five small cutouts, lay the "embossed outline" paw print down where you want the print to be and only glue the small pieces in the "holes" and then lift the outline away.
