Sandy
here with an elegant white on white card. I used limited supplies on
this card; an embossing plate, a border and the center of one of our new
doilies. I began with a card base, 4.25 x 5.5 inches. Using my Hearts and Rose Leaves embossing plate, I dry embossed a panel 4 x 5.25 inches and centered it onto the card base.
I cut a piece of card stock, 2.25 inches square then die cut the center from my Lords & Commons Doily
die. I added small marks on the back of my die so I could line it up
straight. These new doilies are lots of fun to play with. In addition
to the traditional outer doily, you get a removable center die. It only
cuts out the pattern, not the outer edge so you can cut windows with
it, use a circle die around the outer edge or use it on your doily for a
full pattern.
You can see the beauty of the dies when combined together, quite elegant.
Lastly I added my Southern Charm Valance across the bottom of the card, adding some pearl accents. This card has a nice low profile for mailing.

Very elegant card!
