Let It Snow With Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Hi! Is it snowing yet by you? Well here in the valley of the sun it is just beginning to cool down...meaning 80's....lol Today I wanted to share another new card using some more fabulous die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs

I die cut foam with "let it snow" so it pops off the card. The "wreath" I die cut once in green. I thought about cutting it out again but I thought it speaks for itself.

The "icicles" and "winter neighborhood border" I added some liquid appliqué to give it a realistic snow look.

Thanks again for stopping by today.
Have a great week.
Hugs Lisa

Cozy Winter Birthday

12:00 AM 1 Comments
Hi ya Cheery Lynn peeps!  Cherry here with a fun little card for you today. Most of us know someone who is unlucky enough to have their birthday right in the middle of winter.....like me.  Yep mine is in December.  So I came up with a Wintry Birthday card that is sure to cheer someone up.
I used two different dies.  Both the Winter Neighborhood border die and the
Clock (steampunk series) die set.   They are both very versatile dies.  I love them!
I let the die cuts tell their story......so much fun to let them take center stage.
I added some buttons, berries, and cabochons to middle of card.
I just had to cut one little ol' tree and add it here to the button....it was too cute to throw away!

I added a little ribbon and lace and was done!  Of course this die could be used for Christmas but also for Winter and switch it up even more and use it as a birthday card!  Hope you like!  Enjoy, cherry

Merry Christmas Fancy Fold Card by Debbie Brownmiller

3:30 AM 1 Comments
A warm Hello to you today. Nice to see you here. It's Debbie from Debbie's Time out to share a Christmas card with you.
I have always like the design of this style of card. You can really get lots of depth and layers with these card bases.
Just look at these beautiful Christmas Bells with the bow that Cheery Lynn Designs released a short while ago for this Christmas season. There are more dies in this set as well.
Here I have used the Merry Christmas layered on the back of the base. I have layered part of the Winter Neighborhood Border on the back layer. The  Poinsettia I have offset and layered onto the first and second layer of the card. A few beads were added to the center of the poinsettias. I hope I have inspire you to try out creating cards with different styles of card bases. The dies always look great on these styles of cards. Have a wonderful day.
