Hello there fellow die lovers! Bonnie here today from Make Time to Craft and I'm sharing a scenic holiday card I created with several fun die sets from Cheery Lynn Designs.
These cards are very easy to make with the wonderful dies sets from Cheery Lynn Designs and you'll find that you can mix and match many of the sets to build different unique settings. Today I'm using several sets, but you can build a similar scene with sets that you have.
Cheery Lynn dies used:
CABD127 Fireplace
I first created my fireplace scene by cutting the different pieces out of the colors of cardstock that I wanted. I had a leftover piece of orange Distress Ink paper from Halloween that worked perfectly for the fire. My Christmas tree was cut in some green Distress Ink paper along with red and silver and stacked together. I then created my card base and layers and laid out the fireplace and trees the way I wanted them. I adhered the fireplace and accessories first and then I added the tree using some foam adhesive squares to add some dimension. I then cut the presents and added them.
I finished my card off with a pretty bi-color bow made on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two of the ribbons from the Christmas themed October Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I added a pretty flower shaped pearl embellishment to the center of the bow.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Why not pull out your die set and stamp a winter holiday scene today!
Love it! But the most important question I have is what is the white fuzzy material you have on your red and green layers??
