Hi.  It's Debbie with you today from Debbie's Time Out. Today I am featuring two dies sets from the May release and I am loving them. They are the Birthday Wishes Circle Die  and Floral Bouquet Kit Die Set .

I started with the Nautical Wheeler Doily  as my base to build on. I layered the Birthday Wishes  onto the Circle Stitch and Cut Tool  .

Now look at this flower arrangement created using only one die set. It is the Floral Bouquet Kit Die Set   and it is amazing as you can see.

I invite you to come play along in the Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge at http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge. You will have a chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree. I would love to see your creations.

A Little Something for You by Corina Finley

3:30 AM 4 Comments
Hello!

Thanks for joining me today, Corina, here on the Cheery Lynn Blog.

For my card this week, I stamped, watercoloured, embossed and inked the background with Distress Inks on watercolour paper. I then die cut the stamped image out using the Pierced Stacker #4 set. I placed a larger black cardstock die cut (from the same set) to cover the die cut hole.

I then layered the stamped image on top. I inked a variety of foliage die cuts with Distress Inks and placed in the bottom left and top right corners. I used the Build a Flower #2 to create my large flower and the Embellishment #2 for the small buds.

My Sentiment Frame was also cut from watercolour paper and inked to match the background. I stamped and embossed my sentiment in black. Added a few rhinestones to the center of the flowers and stamping.

Dies Used:

A2 Frames Rectangular Classic (Set of 7) - CM-5

I hope you will play along in our Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge. You could win a $20 shopping spree at the online Cheery Lynn Designs store.

Thank you for joining me today!
Take care,

Summer Fun!

3:30 AM 3 Comments
Hi everyone.  It's Bonnie from Make Time to Craft here with you today.  I am featuring another fun die today from the May New Release collection from Cheery Lynn Designs.
This is a great die for a summer party invitation or it would be fantastic as part of a beach themed layout.  I cut the Summer Fun die out of a variety of colors along with tan.  I used tan as my base and then snipped different parts off of the colored paper cuts and glue them on to the base.  I also inked some of the edges with a variety of ink colors for a little added depth.

My fun bright bow was created with a mixture of ribbons found in the May and June Ribbon Club assortments from Really Reasonable Ribbon and it was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0.
My flowers were made using pieces from the Floral Bouquet Kit.  This is a great die set with lots of different options for building quick and easy paper flowers.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Don't forget, there's still time to enter our current 'Sizzlin' Summer Colors' themed challenge for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Cheery Lynn Designs.

Hello Friend with Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 4 Comments

Hello friends! Today I have a really Clean and Simple card for you to make using one Cheery Lynn Designs Die! It is part of the May 2016 New Release called "Cherry Blossom Branch" It's Beautiful! If there is one die cut that you want in your collection...it is for sure this one....
I tend to add lots of layers to many of my cards and of course I'm a pop dot addict. However, I also think that Clean and Simple cards are beautiful too!

The die was cut four times, twice in green and twice in red. Then fussy cut out the red flowers and glue on top of the green. add pearls and your done! The sentiment was stamped in the corner. It is super flat except for the pearls but it should be easy to mail. Takes about 5 minutes to make. :)

Here you can see a close up the intricate details in the flowers and the leaves.  I layered red cardstock and a patterned paper underneath for more color, but it also looks great plain.

I LOVE red! and this is the cover of the die cut that inspired me to make this card today.

My Beloved Greeting Card by Ginny Nemchak

3:30 AM 3 Comments

Hey there Paper Peeps! Ginny here and I'm so excited to be sharing my first project for Cheery Lynn Designs.  I'm so impressed with the quality and variety of the dies and I'm ready to start this new adventure.

For this card I layered several dies with patterned papers from BoBunny and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The flowers were tinted to match the text in the sentiment sticker....easy to do with Distress Ink and a blending tool.
To create a base for this A2 sized card I cut solid black cardstock and added the patterned paper. The Swedish Spring Oval Frame came next then a variety of cut aparts from the paper. Using spacers between the layers adds depth and creates a nice separation between the patterns.
Using the same black cardstock as before I used the Flourish #14 leaf die and secured them to anchor the flowers.  Next 2 flourishes cut from green with the Fanciful Flourish Left die adds a bit of brightness and helps to fill in the arrangement. These flowers were cut from Gardenia Strip and were easy to tint with distress ink and simple to form into gorgeous blooms.

Okay that's all for me.......I hope you enjoyed viewing my first project as much as I enjoyed creating it. Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
