18- Age for Everything

This page is another sample of using our CLD May dies release, as the new and even more Fantasatic June release die are coming to the CLD shop on June 15 th, I wanted to show more of May's dies here before we all move to the new ones

So this time I decided to make a page according to some web challenges and to enter it to , Core'Dinations journaling challenge and Jillibean Soup sketch challenge, so wish me luck there, please

And now for our dies here- lot of them here

Finally I used the Tall Optimistic 3/4 ''ALPHA set- you may laugh , but I just kind of lost them in my messy craftroom, so now it's found and will be used a lot

I used 2 border dies here too: Doties Ric-Rac, Heart Chain border and Scallopes Diamond border

Victorian Picket Fence was a must for this page

And the last- my adorable, darling butterflies: Large Exotic Butterfly #2 and the same Exotic Butterfly from the Small set

And now go to our shop: first you need those May's dies and then come on June 15 th for more and more beauties

Cheery Lynn Designs Butterflies

Today is the last day of the Cheery Lynn Designs Butterfly Challenge. Please join in on the fun for a chance to win a $50 or $25 shopping spree to Cheery Lynn Designs. For my card I decided to give you some more inspiration to use those butterflies!

Using this great paper from the SEI Corrine 6x6 paper pack as my inspiration, I die cut Ribbon Eyelet Border with piercing adding a striped piece of paper from the same collection as the ribbon. Next I die cut Fanciful Flourish and the Sunflower die. I trimmed the top off the flourish, added the flower then added the top of the flourish to extend above the flower. I bent up the petals on the top layer of the sunflower for dimension. Next came the adorable butterflies, these are the Mini Exotic Butterfly set. I die each one out of red and yellow card stock and then layered them, again bending them up for dimension on the card. The last step was to add some Light Green Viva Decor Pearl pen accents. Finished size is 6" square.

Bright and Cheery Tent Card

Today I have made a really fun and easy card called a tent card.

These are quick to put together and work with all types of embellishments and dies.

I used my favorite new dies called Judy's Blooms. I also used the new leaf set called Tropical Leaves.

To cut the center of the card out, to make the window and frame, I used 2 different dies from the Scalloped Circle set.

Inside the card you can see that I used the Eccentric Circle Embossing plate.

I think this makes such a lovely card.

It almost makes me thing we might have a summer sometime this year.

The Road Ahead

I made another card using the large window die from non-other than the fabulous Cheery Lynn Designs. This week is the last week of school for the kids in my area and its also graduation night tonight for high school seniors. I made this card in honor of them representing the future ahead.

To make my "designer" drapes I cut out 9 circles from the Little Stacker Nesting Circle Dies. I folded down the sides on each circle and arranged them together behind the window.

On the inside of my card I embossed my background scene with the burlap embossing plate to make it look a little more realistic.

The new May releases were absolutely perfect for the look I was going for. The grass border, darling daisies, and the garden gate dies made the road look so inviting. That's what we want to encourage the next generation, right?

Gratitude for All You Do with Cheery Lynn Designs

Today I have a quick and easy card... that's filled with COLOR and cute flowers too from the Cheery Lynn Designs May release, Darling Daisies. I also used the Small Oval Classic Silver Stackers Nesting Dies, the Scalloped Oval Nesting Dies and the Scalloped Diamonds Border.

To recreate this card...

Create a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 top fold card from yellow cardstock.
Cut a piece of patterned paper 5 1/4 x 4 and adhere to card front.
Die cut a piece of coordinating patterned paper using the Scalloped Diamonds Border die; adhere to card front.
Die cut Darling Daisies from patterned paper and green cardstock, assemble and adhere to card.
Die cut Silver Stacker Oval from white cardstock and stamp with sentiment; adhere to yellow cardstock die cut using the Scalloped Oval and pop up on card with adhesive foam.
Die cut and adhere Darling Daisies to Ovals as shown.
Adhere rhinestones to Daisies.
