Shasta Daisy Pages & Video with Cheryl Walker

1:30 AM 2 Comments
Hello everyone and Happy Sunday to all!
Today I have another two page layout for the Mini Album I've been working on. This one features the Cheery Lynn Shasta Daisy Flower die. LOVE this one, and I do have a Video Tutorial sharing how I did these using the Copic Airbrushing.
Lately I've been sharing some old family photos, some of my dear Grandma who I miss so much. This one above is her with my first child Britney. Britney was one year old in this photo, and I love this photo of my grandma, brings back so many happy memories and times I spent with her. My Granddaughter Chloey looks just like her mommy did here, and she will be one in May.

On this page I used the Shasta Daisy and did airbrushing on them. I also used the Pierced Stacker #2 XL-20 for the photo and the frame behind it, and for the journaling tag. The wreath pieces are from the Wreath Strip, and I did use the Flourish #8 here too.

Next is the page with me and Britney when she was 1 1/2 years old. On this page I carried over the Shasta Daisy as I love the way they look. I also chose to use the Flourish #8 by Cheery Lynn cut out in white and airbrushed with green Copic markers. The oval /and scalloped oval frames were cut using Cheery Lynn's Oval Classic, and Scalloped Oval dies.

Cheery Lynn Dies Used:

All design paper is from Club scrap Delft Collection. Pearls are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The little tag is a cut a part I used and added the date and a embellishment to it.
I hope you enjoyed my post for today, and thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs to all,
Cheryl Walker

Tea Rose Mini Album Pages & Video with Cheryl Walker

2:30 AM 2 Comments
Hello everyone, so excited to be sharing my 2 page layout for a mini album I'm currently working on using Cheery Lynn Dies. I also have a video showing you how I created these Beautiful Delft Tea Rose Glass Flowers.  They are super fun and easy to make! Hope you enjoy my video for today!!!
Awww, I came across these old photos of our family taken years back when the kids were little, and one wasn't even born yet. WOW, it's hard to believe these little ones are all grown up. How time surely does fly by. I miss those days :(

On my layout I used all Cheery Lynn beautiful dies, love how they work so beautifully in this mini album. I chose to use the Royal Scandinavian Doily on both pages as a backdrop for each photo. I wanted to keep this album simple, no pull-outs, just a spot for photos and my focus was mainly on the flowers for these pages.

Tea Rose flowers- Love using these, and how you can make them look so different by using design paper and a little ink. Super fun!  I love how the leaves turned out too, so real looking!

Cheery Lynn dies used:
Doily-Cheery Lynns Royal Scandinavian Doily
Butterfly- Cheery Lynns Mini Butterfly D138
Flowers- Tea Rose Small and Tea Rose Medium by Cheery Lynn
Leaf- Rose Leaf Strip B241
Flourish #8 - Cheery Lynn

Design papers are from Club Scrap Delft collection. Pearls are from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used a heat gun, glue gun, glue pad, and embossing powder as my extras for today.

Hope you enjoy my video today, as I surely enjoyed making it to share with you all!
Please let me know what you think of todays post, as I always love reading your wonderful comments!!

hugs to all,

Tri Shutter Fold Card & Video Tutorial with Cheryl Walker

1:30 AM 2 Comments
Hello everyone, and Happy Wednesday to all!
I'm super excited to share my Tri - Fold shutter card and Video tutorial made for Cheery Lynn Designs & Club Scrap! It seems like forever since I've done a tutorial, and this one I kept simple, as I didn't have time to add photos and all that to it. However I do love this fold & hope you do too!!
Card measures 4" x 6" and I used the Score-pal & Cutter for this one.

All design paper & Succulents Jumbo Un-mounted Stamps are from Club Scraps Succulents kit. All dies are from Cheery Lynn, and I will list them below :)

Cheery Lynn Dies used:
XL19 Pierced STacker #1
LPC4 Circle Pierce and Cut Tool LG Silver Pierce Tool(for circle)
B216 wreath Strip
B307 Sweet Williams Strip DL113AB Small Exotic Butterflies #2

Really Reasonable Ribbon satin , and pearls for the flowers.

I Love that there is plenty of room for writing in this, and you can even add some to the back as well.
My Sweet William Strip flowers were cut using the coordinating design paper, and spritzed with pearl mist, then shaped and dried. I added pearls to the centers.

Exotic Butterfly- was cut using coordinating Succulents design paper, then misted and I added some embellishments to it. The back was cut using a brown shimmer card stock.

Wreath Strip- was cut using the green design paper in this kit, and I LOVE how they look with the flowers

Succulents Stamp sentiment was stamped in Club Scrap black ink on the design paper I cut out using the Cheery Lynn circle die.

I hope you enjoy my little video tutorial below :)
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!

Hugs to all,
Cheryl
