# Guest Designer

A Model Bookmark - Guest Designer

It's time for another project for my guest designer spot here at Cheery Lynn Designs
Today I'm using one of the very popular Mixed Media Dolls by Prima. These stamps are very large, perfect for paper piecing like I did today, a little large for a card so I went with a fancy bookmark. .

Cheery Lynn Dies used in this project are: Flourish Leaf Strip, Mini Dimensional Butterflies with Angel Wing, Carnivale Border, Medium Rose and Cuties 2 (used as a border)

I used a couple of the dies a little differently on this project, the flowers are using just two off the rose strip and layered with a brad.

The border on the bookmark is actually one of the Cuties flower dies that is meant to be rolled but I thought it was rather cool as a border, a little like a spiral binding edge and I just added a few pearls for sparkle.

I love how easily the border die cut through the glittered card stock, my punches often have a problem but not so these beautiful dies. And the addition of the angel wings to the tiny butterflies made all the difference.
I hope you liked this project and I'll be back next week for my 3rd project.

Katie
