Hello dear Cheery Lynn Designs lovers!
Kianel here with you today. You know how i like to challenge myself so this time i decided to go for a no stamp card (well, i must admit it felt excruciating not to use any, lol!) on a christmas theme and to use one die as a mask. You'll have to forgive my poor attempt as i was way too far from my comfort zone here... Anyway, here is the card:
It's about 16cm x16cm. The base is made with size 4 of Kaleidoscope lace mega doily.
To make my background, i took the inner diecut of the Mexican tile pattern and used it as a mask with brown ink. Pretty cool effect you get i think.
The flower is made with several dies: the first petals are from the Build a flower #2 set, inked with distress and covered with Creative inspirations shimmer paint. I then rolled some pink tulle and finally placed the inner part of the Notre Dame cathedral doily under. I then added The mini leaf and the leaves from the Build a flower #2 set. When placed on the card, i added some pearl band bits here and there.
Small butterflies from the mini dimensional butterflies are placed here and there.
I finally added the smallest text of the Merry christmas set (to which i took the snowflakes off).
Don't forget our weekly challenge for a chance to win a 20$ shopping spree and the opportunity of becoming one of our weekly spotlights!
Take care and have fun with Cheery Lynn dies! Love from France, Kianel.
