One of the new dies released last week by Cheery Lynn Designs is called Victorian Romance Flourish. Everything about this die says elegance and romance. And the great part is the little pieces that fall out of the die can be used as well.
This is a very quick card to make, just die cuts and paper. I began with my largest Scallop French Flair XL Stacker die for the card base, followed by it's matching Silver Stacker. Next, I came down 2 sizes on the Scallop French Flair XL Stacker along with it's matching Silver Stacker. Then I used my Scallop Circle XL Stacker with it's matching Silver Stacker. Then I added the gorgeous Victorian Romance Flourish, I use spray adhesive on the fancy dies cuts like this. I die cut two of the three butterflies from the Exotic Butterfly Small set, cutting two of each so I could add vellum Angel Wings inserts. I added some color to the vellum with dye ink markers. The little swirls under the butterflies are the drop out pieces from cutting the flourish. I added some Viva Decor Pearl Pen accents to the butterflies and I was done. This luscious paper is from the DCWV Mariposa collection. Finished size is 5 5/8" square.
Don't forget the Design Team call is on now until August 14th. This is your chance to join a great team!
