Cherish Card by Eva Dobilas

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Hi there, this is Eva. Hope you had a beautiful Easter celebration.  Today I have a spring card to share with you with a pretty butterfly.

To start out this card I cut an A2 size card base out of white card stock.  Next I die cut the front of it using Card Cover Maker #1 and colored it in with green/blue/brown inks.  I added a yellow piece of card stock underneath to show the design of the die cut.  Next I die cut an Ankara Lace Doily with Angel Wing out of light blue card stock and added some green and brown ink.  I also die cut the wing that comes with the same die out of cream card stock and glued it to the lace die and using pop dots I adhered it to the card front.

Next I die cut the angel wing from the Whimsical Butterfly with Angel Wing die set and sprayed it with shimmer ink and then die cut the actual butterfly from the same set and glued it together and adhered it to the doily.  Finally I die cut the sentiment Cherish out of pink card stock and added it below my butterfly.

Hope you like this card and here is the list of the Cheery Lynn Designs dies I use on this card:

Spring Hello from Eva Dobilas

Hi there, this is Eva here with a floral card just in time for Spring.  I love the pretty Lotus Flower and I thought I would use them again.

To create this card I started by creating an A2 size card out of cream card stock.  Then I cut a piece of   light brown card stock and embossed it using Wood Grain/Leaves embossing plate and distressed it with brown ink to show the design even more.

Next I die cut a Card Cover Maker #1 out of cream card stock and cut it off partially to fit my card front.  Next I die cut 3 different color Lotus Flowers out of three different color card stock and layered them on the card.  Then I die cut two leaves using the Judy's Blooms and Flourish#3 using green card stock and tucked them under the flowers.  Finally I die cut 4 corners using Lords and Commons Accents and black card stock and placed them in the corners.  I cut Hello out of yellow card stock and placed it on the flower.

Hope you like this springy card and here are the Cheery Lynn Designs dies I used to create this card:

Smile card by Eva Dobilas

Hi there, this is Eva with a cute boy card once again inspired by this week's challenge.  Feminine cards come easy to me, so I thought I would challenge myself, especially since I had this cute happy hippo I haven't played with yet from this release and I just knew he would make a cute boy card.

So I die cut my card base using A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped out of a dark blue card stock, than I die cut a one size smaller A2 Frames Rectangular Classic out of white card stock and one Lattice Circle Frame out of green which I cut down to match the size of the A2 Frames Rectangular Classic.  I adhered that on top of the white panel and than adhered that to my card base.

I die cut two different size Pierced Banners, one out of light blue and one out of the green card stock and layered them on top of my card.

I die cut my little hippo out of a light blue color and adhered it to a dark blue card stock so the dark blue would show through, and I cut off the access dark blue.  Than I die cut a red hippo as well and took the SMILE word out and added it to my light blue hippo.

Finally I die cut a Coved Rectangle out of red card stock and popped my hippo on top of it to stand out more and once again using popped dots added that whole element to my card front.

Well, sure hope this little card puts a smile on your face!

Thinking of you by Eva Dobilas

3:30 AM 3 Comments

Hi there, this is Eva and I have a Thinking of You card to share with you today.  I decided to create a card base with the A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped dies using craft card stock.  I die cut a Lattice Circle Frame out of turquoise color card stock and cut it down a little bit to fit it onto a smaller sized A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped which I die cut out of white card stock.

Than I die cut my rose and leaves twice using Rose and Leaves out of water color card stock and a gold glitter card stock as well.  I also die cut a Leafy Flourish using water color card stock again and painted it in along with my rose using water colors.

I tied a jute around my panel, added the flourish, the rose and the gold glittered leaves.  Finally I die cut a tag using the Tags 4 out of cream card stock and stamped my sentiment onto it and tied it with the jute.

Here is the list of Cheery Lynn dies I used to create this card:
