Hello Friend by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 1 Comments

Hi Cheery Lynn fans, it’s Julie here today and I am sharing some inspiration on my friendship card using the super vintage Rotary Phone Die.

Using Maja Design papers I started by tattering my base layers and adding on Hello Friend.

My Rotary Phone was cut out in Black cardstock and Gold Glitter card, paper piecing my sections together and adding a large gem into the centre of the dial. I glued in place with some Silicone Glue onto my tattered layer and Doily.

My flowers were all inked in the centres with Archival ink adding Stamens into the centres, placing the arrangement onto my card.

Hello Beautiful by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by, it's JULIE here hosting the blog today.

My card uses one of the many pretty background designed Dies. I started by cutting this out in pearlised cream cardstock and mounted onto the same card to form the base of my card. Cheery Lynn's word dies come in two different sizes which are great for layouts and cards. I decided to use the smaller Die on my word Hello and the larger Die on my word Beautiful.

My Daises were cut out in the same cream cardstock adding Distress Ink onto them and Prills into the centres. I mounted them onto my Ivy Corner Flourish which I also arranged a few extra leaves using my Ivy Strip Die and finished with some Butterflies.

Hello Cupcake

12:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi everyone!

Laurie here from Stamping Up North sharing a birthday card I made with Cheery Lynn's cupcake die. I chose some pretty lavender gingham paper for the background for my cupcake. Then I added a bright red cherry and a green leaf from the Floral Bouquet Kit. I popped it up with some foam dots.
The little flowers are actually from the Mandy Doily die....I added some tiny pearls in their centers. I adhered the bright red sentiment "Hello" below and stamped my birthday greeting inside.

Here's a list of the dies I used:

Hello Card by Amy Voorthuis

3:30 AM 1 Comments
Good morning lovelies.
Today it's my turn again on this lovely blog and this time I would like to share another card with you  all! The flowers on my card are really easy but really time consuming because you have to cut out at least 20 flower petals from the B187 - Build a Flower #2 but they give such a great affect on your card. You can make them as large as you wish you only have to cute out more flowers petals to do so.

Hello:
I cut out the flower petals out of mulberry papers and colored them with some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.  This time I chose a darker purple and a bright pink one. I wish I had more mulberry or mixed media papers.  Then I would have been making flowers all day long because it's so much fun.

I think I am kind of hooked on that gorgeous B465 - Double Scalloped Border - hehe it's such a great addition to your work! For my card I used the pretty "Vintage Autumn Basics" collection by Maja Design

Hello Greeting Card by Ginny Nemchak

3:00 AM 0 Comments

Hey there Peeps! Ginny here dropping in to share a sweet little greeting card. I'm embracing a CAS style with graphic colors and dimensional flowers.  This is an A2 sized card cut from black cardstock with coral and white layered on top.
I created a texture for the background by cutting several sets of Flowers in white and adhering them to a white background.  Then I inset another layer of just white bordered with the coral and black. This gave me a solid base to attach the Flourish and Cherry Blossom Flowers.
This simple Hello sentiment makes this card perfect for any occasion.
Okay these Cherry Blossom flowers are making me all kinds of happy. Once cut they were shaped and stacked and topped off with the leftover pieces from the background and a sweet little gray pearl.  This is a small bow for me..but it's perfectly suited to finish off this card : )

Okay that's all for me. Wishing all of you a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
