In My Heart Card with Cheryl Walker

1:00 AM 0 Comments
Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Sunday to you all!  Hope you have been having a nice crafty weekend! Today I have this sweet card designed for Cheery Lynn Designs . On my card today I used 4 different Cheery Lynn Dies, and the sentiment from The Project Bin "In My Heart" stamp set.

To start with I grabbed some design papers that I've been keeping in a box on the floor by my work station. I figured this would be an easy way to use up all those scrap design paper pieces we all have a ton of.....LOL and when I grab new sheets, the leftovers go in this box as well, unless they have a book or box that I have them in to begin with. An example would be Graphic45.  I put all my scraps back in the paper stack, so I have it with that collection. And some of my other collections are in boxes, and plastic tote things that hold entire collections. I should take a photo so you can see :)

PHOTO'S below!
So the top photo here holds some of the stacks either 12 x 12, and 6 x 6 of the one collection, along with any embellishments that go with that collection like stickers, ribbons, brads, embellishments of all sorts. Love that I can pull one plastic tote and have everything I need.
This is how I store all my club scrap collections. Each box has either 1 or 2 collections in it and it will state that on the box so I can grab them easily. On the paper shelves I do keep a few collections that didn't come in a stack, but rather a plastic bag type holder. Those I have on some of these shelves in my room.

So the design papers on this card came from my scrap box. Not sure who they are by, but love them, and glad to use them up!

Next my flowers were cut using Cheery Lynns B339 Gardenia Strip, B241 Rose Leaf Strip, and then the Wreath Strip B216 for the branches used on this card.

The doily is Cheery Lynn's Priscilla Doily die DL260.
The bow was created using Really Reasonable Ribbon's Delicate Stitched Satin.

The sentiment is from The Project Bins "In My Heart Set"

Lastly to complete my card I added sewing!

I hope you enjoyed my post for today! Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a lovely day.

Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Christmas Wishes Candy Pocket Tags with Cheryl Walker

1:30 AM 3 Comments
Hello everyone, and Happy Friday to you all! Today I wanted to share 5 of 14 tags I created using the BEAUTIFUL Cheery Lynn Designs Dies. I had a blast making these, and created them to bring to our Doll Club Christmas Party, and everyone LOVED them!!! :)
Of course I had to use the Beautiful Christmas Poinsettia Strip die from Cheery Lynn to create my gorgeous flowers. They were cut using a striped metallic and regular design paper print. I also did my favorite Glass Flower technique on these, as it makes them sturdy and beautiful :)  I love using the wreath strip die, as it cuts the perfect amount for each pocket tag, and that was 7.

Cheery Lynn Designs Dies Used:
Cheery Lynn Mirror CABD-74

To create my tags I started with Cheery Lynn's Pierced Stacker 3 XL21 using the largest die in this set for the main tag and design paper. If you are creating 5 tags you would need to cut 8 greens to give you 5 entire pieces, and then cut the others in half to create the pocket, leaving 1 half leftover. Design paper pieces were cut using the same die.  Be sure to add your design paper before adding your pocket.

Next I cut my tag, oval , poinsettias , holly, and wreath branches and had them all prepped and ready to decorated my pocket.  You can also use ric rac, or trip or whatever to border the pocket.  Then add ribbon to embellish with a bow. I did add some half backed pearls to my flowers too. For these 5 Pocket tags I did add some vintage ric rac to the pocket. On the Oval Classic, it was cut in white, stamped sentiment in black, and then added some red dots around the edges.

I really had a lot of fun decorating these up, and adding some fun Christmas candy to each one. The pockets were easy and came together quickly. Love using Cheery Lynn dies as they make for some beautiful crafts!!!

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I truly enjoyed sharing! Thank you so much for looking!!!

I hope you enjoyed my post for today!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl
