ReplyDeleteI am learning to color with Copic's, I try to make cards that are suitable for mailing, and I like to use fibers as an embellishment-floss, yarn, ribbon.
Thank you for this great hop!
What a delightful release! All the retro dies are so fun and everyone's cards are amazing. I like to color with copics though I'm still in the beginner stages. I mail most of my cards so they are mostly flat except on occasion when I feel like getting fancy. My favorite embellishments are probably sequins, gems or colored candy dots. Thanks for the great inspiration today!
ReplyDeleteI love retro and everything about this release! Every card was one that I would purchase in a store. To me, that means every die is worth buying!
ReplyDelete1)I haven’t been able to catch on to copics, but I do like watercolor pencils. I avoid coloring on cards!
2)I love embellishments, I usually hand deliver “thicker” cards, but mail it in a box envelope if I have to.
3)lots of dimensional flowers.
Thanks so much for the new release and the inspiration, great design team!
1) Copics are fun and also I LOVE coloring with gel pens - especially glitter pen
ReplyDelete2) Depends. If I'm handing it out, then whoa - lots of details and layers. If I'm mailing, I like some, but still have to fit it in. I hardly ever do completely flat cards unless it's a lot of detailed coloring.
3) I love all embellishments. I love to add lace, gems, glitter, flowers, but don't use stickers.
Love this retro release!! All the cards were just so cute. I plan on doing some shopping!!
ReplyDeleteI don't color much on cards, but I have my water color pencils if I do. I do use my ink pads to add to the edge of cards!
I love to add layers to give dimension to my cards, but when I have to mail them, they are toned down.
I love to add pearls and other bling but not too much.
1. My favorite coloring medium is Copics or other alcohol ink markers.
ReplyDelete2. I make mostly flat cards with minimal layers.
3. I like to use rhinestones for embellishments a lot. Slowly getting into using some sequins too!
I really like the dies in this new release. I think I can identify with them more due to my ancient age. LOL
I've seen so many lovely retro cards! Loving all these dies!

3. I like to use rhinestones for embellishments. I make also flowers which I put on my albums.
1. Copics are my favorite coloring medium.
ReplyDelete2. Since I make my own envelopes, I make my cards flat or layered both, and pay extra postage for them to be "non-machinable".
3. Die-cut embellishments are my favorites right now.
these new dies are too cool! I want them all! now to answer your questions
ReplyDelete1. I love my alcohol markers but I am just learning. I feel most comfortable water coloring and every once and a while I will still pull out my good old pencils.
2. I try to keep it flat for a regular postage stamp but that won't stop me from embellishing and layer is the style/design calls for it.
3. I love sequins, bling and gems. I love the look of twine and ribbon and will often add some.
Thanks for the opportunity
Alicia
1. I don't color much but I do a lot of sponging on flowers and backgrounds.
ReplyDelete2. Lots of layers and dimension;
3. sequins, pearls, butterflies and birds.
Not much for coloring, but when I do, I love to use and blend colored pencil and water color pencils. My projects always have three or more layers. The more, the merrier using mostly die cuts for detail and dimension. The postal workers always know when they see me, that I will require extra postage for mailing! I love to embellish with sequins, pearls and flowers.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards and amazing release!!!

ReplyDeleteFab and fun creations from the team. I like distress inks and a waterbrush. I tend to go for flat cards, coos I'm a simple crafter, although I have nothing against layers and embellishments. I do like pearls and rhinestones. Hugz
