# Build A Flower. 2 # Chrysanthemum Strip

Thank You by Jenny Alia

Hello, it's JENNY here hosting the blog today.  I'm sharing a card I made using flowers I saved to use in a name frame.  My new niece is only a week old, so I figure I still have time to make more flowers for her project.  Instead with patterned paper from Martha Stewart and the Quadrafoil Doily and Tag dies, I created a thank you card.

I colored the Chrysanthemum and Small and Large Gardenias with distress ink and spray mists.  The gardenias both have a nice shimmer.  The flowers were shaped using a molding mat and stylus tools.

I cut leaves from the Build a Flower #2 die and tucked them underneath the flowers.  The Quadrafoil Tag was popped up higher using foam tape for added dimension.  I also glued flat-backed creme pearls to the corners of the Quadrafoil Square Doily.  The Thank You die was also colored with a little distress ink so it would stand out more against the Tag.
