Hello there Cheery Lynn Designs friends. Karen here, sharing
an inspirational card with you today!
Because there's quite a bit of silver shimmer, I wanted to keep
the card simple in nature, but with all the attention toward
the center highlighting three of the newest releases!!
I started by creating a 5.25 x 5.25 card base in heavy silver cardstock.
Then, I layered the silver polka dot paper, and then the blue dictionary paper!
Then, it's all about layering!! Bottom up, I used the French Pastry Doily
and two of the Pierced Stars dies (one white and one silver layer) for next layers.
Next, I layered the Peace Dove on top. Lastly, comes the sentiment Believe.
Note: I intentionally did not poke out the center part of the doily, just for
a different look! I love using heavy card stock because it really
shows off the beautiful embossing and thicker texture on the die cut!!
To top it off, I die cut four tiny Pierced Stars in silver card stock and
added them to the four corners of the card base.
That's it...simple & clean with focus toward the center layers!!
