# Dawn Lotharius # Doilies

Candle In The Frame

This week our challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs is

Christmas
Here are the rules:
  • You MUST follow the theme and use at least one Cheery Lynn Designs die, of course, we would love to see more than one.
  • You MUST add a link to your blog post in the InLinkz at the end of that post; no back posting, only new projects are allowed
  • You MUST link to our Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge blog in your post
  • You may only enter the challenge ONCE per week.
The winner will be chosen based on merit by Cheery Lynn Designs. They will receive a $20 coupon for shopping at the Cheery Lynn website. The challenge will end on Sunday night at 22:00 Eastern time.

In addition, our design team members will be voting on 3 favorites who will receive a Weekly Spotlights badge to display on their blog. Be sure to come back on Wednesday to see who earned the badge.

I used the following supplies:
English Tea Party Doily Die

The background is a resist technique ~ here is the technique at Splitcoast Stampers.
I used a mixture of dies that really aren't Christmas pieces, but I believe they worked well for this
5 3/4 x 5 3/4 card.
Well you know how I love my flowers? I actually made my flowers and then used a little Creative Inspirations Paint on them and also on the image I stamped in the frame.
I also pulled out my Paper Blossoms Paper Tool Kittool set and used them to add dimension to my flower and leaves.
The great Christmas papers are from Bo Bunny.

You know you want to get some of those Christmas cards started- why don't you join us this week.
