Flower Tutorial with Angel Girl

Hello everyone.  I am here with a tutorial that I offered last week and some of you wanted to see how I made the flower from this card:

This is the same type flower, just on a smaller scale.
Firs you will need to cut out circles.  About 9 - 10 of them.
4 different sizes, with the largest being a scalloped edge circle.
I used the CIRCLE and Scalloped Circle Large dies.

Distress all the circles so the paper is nice an pliable.

Ink the edges of all circles and cut a small pie shaped wedge out of all the circles, but not the largest scalloped circle.

For the largest scalloped circle, you will spiral cut it, like the one below.

Using a quick drying glue, overlap edges of all circles where the wedge was cut out.

When turned over, they will look like little hats.

Starting with the smallest circles, start building the flower.

Here is what the back looks like for the first layer.

Put the glue on the flatter portion or each petal and start gluing them all together, staggering the petals as you add the different sizes.

Here is what the flower will look like when all the circles have been glued together.

Side view.

To make the center, take the spiral cut flower and start rolling the spiral, but start from the center, not the outer edge.

Here you can see what I mean but starting in the center.

Here is the center all rolled up loosely.

Be sure that you have a lot of glue in the flower base to drop the center into.

Here is the completed flower! Pretty easy, right??

I attached the flower to this lovely plaque I made.

It was the perfect touch.

I had a lost of fun creating this gorgeous plaque.

Isn't that just a great stamp and I love how all the Cheery Lynn Design Dies were a perfect touch to complete this project.

I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.
