Hello my dears Cheery Lynn designs lovers!
Kianel here with you today to show you that a Cheery Lynn die never is just a die but several.
To demonstrate that, i decided to use the Sophia's heart die from the doily assortment. This die is soooo delicate, i just loooove it!!! There are several designs in just one die!!!
That picture is just to show how I've separated 2 different parts of the die. I didn't pull out all the little pieces from the center of the die because i won't be using this part, but you sure have another die there! lol!).
Here is the front of the card. You can see several layers there, all made using different dies. The basic shape of the card is made using the largest of the mini pearl rectangle mega doily to get this cute little scalloped effect all around the card. I then flipped it in 3 using the scoreboard from Diamondcardcraft.
Several layers of different dies were used to make the center of the card. to cut out Tilda, i used the XL circle stackers as a stencil to get the perfect size and not cut out her legs, lol. I then placed it on the central piece of the Sophia's heart die to get the heart border all around. Under that, i cut a printed paper with the large Silver circle stacker. Then i used the Mini pearl circle mega doily and taped everything on. One more layer is made with the large sunflower doily and i added a layer again with printed paper to put under. The whole thing is taped on one side of the card so that it opens.
I then added the gorgeous small lace faerie queen with angel wing die and used both parts.
To help my card close correctly, i added some lace to bow and made a key using the heart key die which i inked, stamped and embossed.
The flower is made using Cutie 4 die, twice in white paper but inked one in purple and once in pink tulle. Pretty cool right? I just love the different textures it gives to the flower. Two leaves from the stacker flower #1 leaf are inked and placed under.
Here is what the card looks like when opened. You can see the 3 parts of the card and the back of the large sunflower doily.
Here is a close up of the back of the large sunflower doily which i covered with printed paper. I then cut out pieces of the border of my Sophia's heart die that i had left aside. I love how it just looks like lace!
I also used the 2 pieces of the two of hearts die and just inked them.
On the left side, you can see one of the exotic butterflies small and a piece of the Lace rose and flourishes that i just inked a little.
The other flourish of the same die is used on the right side with another of the small exotic butterflies.
Have you seen the gorgeous fonts that Cheery Lynn designs is carrying? Just go and see that section because you will find some amazing dies there! This beautiful big "E" letter is coming from the Flourish font. Isn't it stunning? I then completed the name with letters taken from the 1/2" slightly script basic upper and lower case font: perfect size for a card! The different frames of all layers are made using the Mini pearl rectangle mega doily and i just fixed the sizes as i already showed you how to: endless possibilities!
Material used:
all dies from Cheery Lynn Designs. Stamps from Magnolia. Papers from Canson and Pion design. inks from versafine and distress. Shimmer paints and embossing powders from Creative Inspirations.
So that was it for today and i hope you enjoyed it. Just always try to find different uses for one die and you will double or triple your collection, lol! Don't forget to take a chance at our weekly challenge and maybe win a 20$ shopping spree to buy some new dies. Take care, love from France, Kianel.
