Hello Beautiful Card by Amy Voorthuis

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hi everyone,
I hope you are enjoying your weekend and had a lovely Thanksgiving with your loved ones.
Today I would like to share another card with you all, this time created with Prima Marketing's newest collection "Rossi Belle"! I am totally in love with this collection but it was really hard to get here because is was sold out in a blink and I know why - it's amazingly beautiful.

Hello Beautiful:
For this card I used some of my newest dies to create with such as the B465 - Double Scalloped Border & the cute B488 - Pair of Tickets.  This card was a blessing to make and I am very happy how it turned out. Also I took out my doily dies again for this card and it was really nice to play with them after such a long time.

That lily flower is from the build a flower die range and is such a gorgeous addition to your work because it's really large and easy to put together. If I find time I will show you that in a video as soon as I can.

My Fabulous Men 8x8 Layout by Amy Voorthuis

3:30 AM 2 Comments
Good morning lovelies.
Did you enjoy all the projects made with all the lovely new Fall & Winter Holiday releases?
I really enjoyed looking at everyone's work, so many new ideas pop up in my mind.
Although I am not such a fan of Christmas & Halloween dies these babies make make me sing {and believe me I can't sing}!
So you probably will see me make more of those kind of cards around that time but for now I made a 8x8 layout again as promised. As maybe many of you know I am a sucker for Cheery Lynn Designs flower dies so this layout is loaded with many of these wonderful dies.

My Fabulous Men:
A couple weeks back we took a selfie with our dog {Fibi my princes} only my husband did not have his sunglasses on so it looks like he pooped in his pants lol....hihihi!
For this layout I used the gorgeous "Nyhavn" collection by Maja Design which is by far my most favorite collection to design with ever not sure why but probably because there are so many masculine elements.

I used part of the B338 - Black Eyed Susan Strip as a center for my build a flower die. I firstly made the flowers petals wet and wrinkly, then layered them on top of a circle I cut out just like I wanted it to be. The word men was made with partly the B410 - My {set of 2} and the other two letters came out of the FS171 - Delicate Lace Script!

Create Flowers by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 4 Comments

Hi Everyone, It's JULIE here today and now that the Christmas season is over I thought it would be nice to make a card filled with summery flowers.

My card has lots of layers, tattering at the edges, adding Frantage Powders and tucking in doily accents. My inverted scalloped edge was made using a piece of waste paper and cutting out a scalloped square.

My Watering Can was painted with Pewter Distress Paint and adding some Archival Ink for shading. I then added a little Grass to the base and on the top of the Watering Can I shaded with a Pale Blue pen and added Glossy Accents for a watery look.

I cut out 2 of my Leafy Flourishes, placing one on my card, the other I cut into sections and placed into my design with my Flowers which have Flower Soft added to their centres.

Twin cards and tutorial by Cohenna

3:30 AM 7 Comments
Hello everyone. My name's Monika. I run a blog: My magic worldI love cards with
all the flowers. I do all flowers myself, then they are unique. Privately I'm a wife
and mother of two urchins. I live in a small village. Craft is my passion
and a way to relaxIt is a great pleasure to appear here as a guest designer.
Thank you for the invitation to this group of
extremely talented girls. I hope that my work will inspire you :)

Today I wanted to show two cards embellished with flowers created
with the Build a Flower #2 die.

Here is the step by step for making the flowers.
We need 5 large and 5 smaller petals.

Add a bit of distress ink, for my card I inked the entire petals.

Dry emboss the edge of the petals - you want it wavy

Trim the ends of the smaller petals

Glue together the larger petals using a piece of paper as the base

Pinch the ends of the smaller petals to make bowls

Glue the smaller petals of the flower to the larger petal base

Add a thick layer of glue to the edges of the petals and then
sprinkle with glitter; shaking off the excess.

then set aside to dry

Add glitter in the same way to the stamens, then make a hole
in the center of the flower and slide the stamens through.

Add a large pearl to the center of the stamens and the
 flower is finished.

I trimmed the center of my French Pastry Doily so the DP
would  show through, added assorted greenery and some
white flourishes and then placed my flowers.

I hope you have found my tutorial helpful.

A HEART SHAPED TRINKET BOX WITH ANITA KEJRIWAL

3:30 AM 7 Comments

Hello friends,
Are you ready for my weekly Wednesday project. Today, I am following the theme for this month's challenge---hearts....Cheery Lynn has most beautiful heart shaped dies and here I have used the die Heart to Heart. The flowers are all handmade and coloured with Copics. I have tried a pastel shabby chic look for my box and I totally loved the result. Its all lacy and nice...There are several videos on you tube as to how to make these heart shaped boxes and I followed one of them. This whole box nearly took two hours to make , but its worth the effort. Let me give you a brief description of how I made this.

First , I cut a chipboard for the base of the biggest heart die. Then I marked a half inch boundary all around the dis cut. Then I cut a paper measuring 3.5 '' in width and measured it long enough to cover the boundary of the base. Then I scored the base at 0.5 '' and added a score tape on this and cut small tabs so that I can easily curve along the border.

I cut three lattice die cuts and put it on this border covering the edges with dancing doily lace and ribbon.  For the top. again I cut a heart shaped chip board and attached it to the back with white washi tape.

Then I decorated the top with another heart shaped die cut and flowers.  For the inside, cut another heart die cut and simply stick to the bottom to cover all tabs.  Decorate the edges with blings. I hope I could explain the process. Please do ask me, if you need to know anything else.

3:30 AM 4 Comments
Hello to all !!!!

I hope you all are in best of moods crafting away to glory. Today , I am back again for my wednesday weekly with Cheery Lynn, I loved putting all the elements of this card together. The lacy effect brought by layering the doilies is so pretty And then the flowers !!!! I love making them. Cheery lynn has a fantastic collection of flower making dies and doilies.
For my card, I have used the cathedral lace frame for my backing. Then I layered it with two doilies cutting them up and placing according to design. The clock cut in black highlights the layers and the flowers with lots of leaves does wonders to the whole card.
