Hi everyone, it's Lori here with you today. I'm stirring things up and filling in for Donna this week...but don't worry she'll be back next Tuesday to share one of her fabulous creations with you.
Today I wanted to show you what some plain white card stock and Cheery Lynn dies can make. Can you believe everything on this card was white and with a little help from some ink and a lot of help from my Cheery Lynn Dies...I was able to create this card. Granted it's fun to have designer papers to play with but just know you can make something wonderful with just plain white paper.
I'm going to share one of our best kept secrets with you today...our embossing plates. We offer a wide range of various textures and backgrounds and they are so wonderful to use. You just ink them up a bit, run them through your machine with a rubber mat and you can create background paper that is second to none. Just look at the foliage / leaf background paper that was used for the base of my card. It's beautiful thanks to Cheery Lynn.
Here is a list of all the Cheery Lynn Dies used today:
See you Friday, Hugs Lori
Oh and be sure to see our exciting announcement to kick off summer.
Here are the rules: Play along with all four of our challenges for the month of June (easy enough!) On the last challenge post for the month, leave a comment if you entered all of the challenges, telling us that you "had a summer blast with Cheery Lynn Designs" and you will be entered to win this fantastic prize! Due to the cost of shipping and the electrical wiring on the machine, this contest is only open to our North American fans.
This weeks challenge is Red,White and Blue. So play along for an opportunity to win a $20 store credit to the CLD store, and also so you can be in the running to win the eBosser (msrp $229.99).
Also, for our loyal challenge followers, please note - the Cheery Lynn Designs Challenges will be moving over to our inspiration blog as of June 30th. We will still have the same challenges and prizes, but now you will be able to find all of your Cheery Lynn Designs inspiration in one stop! Also, our challenges will be going live on Sunday morning rather than Monday.
Gorgeous card, Lori!

That IS a gorgeous card, Lori. The Princess Tree makes a perfect vine! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding us that everything starts off white. Great that you have showcased the embossing plates. It is only recently I discovered these at CLD and I would love to see more examples of them. Hint hint. There are so many but I wasn't really aware of them. Perhaps an embossing feature week???
ReplyDeleteLori This card amazes me being you only used white paper and inks. You made a wonderful creation. That trellis really is a wonderful die
