The official first day of summer was last week, so to help celebrate - I have a summery card to share with you.
The flowers were made with the Shasta Daisy die, and Build A Flower 2 Embellishments for the centers. They are very easy to put together - in fact, I made all of these flowers with only 2 cuts from the daisy die. I also used the new and improved Silver Stitching Tool on my oval (I know it's hard to notice it on the picture - but there is stitching around the edge.) Such a great way to make perfect stitches.
This is the last week to enter the Summer Blast with Cheery Lynn to win an eBosser - but we will have another contest in July, so be sure to watch for that. This is also the last week that our challenges will be found on the separate challenge blog - starting June 30th, you will find them starting on Sundays on the inspiration blog. This week the challenge is Wonderful Weddings. Show us your best creation using CLD and you could win a $20 gift certificate!

This is beautiful! I love the summery white flowers and that sweet little bumblebee!
ReplyDeleteJust seeing this beautiful card made me feel better today. So many gorgeous die cut layers and the pieced flowers are wonderful. Great job.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful summer card! Love the flowers and the bee and your layering. The black border really sets off the bumblebee and makes the flowers pop. Beautiful card!
