A New Way to use Corner Dies with Guest Designer Holly

Hi again!  It's Holly back with another guest post today.  I'm going soft and romantic with this card and I'll show you a new way to use your corner dies.  You don't have to use them in the corners of your cards or layouts.  Look at the white pieces under the flower.  That is four corner die cuts set together with the points meeting in the center under the flower.  With this particular die cut, the shape ends up more roundish, and it fits perfectly inside the circle of the Ankara Lace Doily.

If you were using a more triangular corner die cut, you might end up with a square shape.  In the picture below, you can see how pairing these two corner die cuts would give you a large triangle shape.  Just add two more of these and you'd have a square.

Play around with your corner die cuts and have fun with the resulting shapes.  You never know what you might end up with - that's the fun of mixing and matching these dies!  :-)

I used the following dies on my card:

Ankara Lace Doily
Lace Corner Deco F
Daisy Strip
Mini Dimensional Butterflies with Angel Wings
City Girl Edger

Thanks for stopping in to see what I've created.  Please check back next week for my last guest post - I've created a fun summer scene for you!  :-)
