Hi, it’s Gini, and I’m here to share I bright and cheerful
card. It's simple, but striking. And, it's the perfect card for our challenge this week - Keep it Krafty. I hope you are playing along for your chance to win the weekly $20 CLD store credit - and this month's big prize, an eBosser!
If you would like to make this card, here are the step-by-step instructions:
1 1. Cut two
layers of kraft, and mat with 1/8” border of Shocking Pink cardstock.
2 2. Stamp the floral
background onto both pieces of the kraft paper using the Orchid ink.
3 3. Diecut the
mesh border from brown cardstock.
4. Die cut the
top and bottom edges of a piece of Shocking Pink cardstock, using the Lady Kate Edger.
5. Mount the mesh border in the
center. Add ribbon between the diecut
edge and the center mesh.
5 6. Cut flowers
and ink with Jasmine ink. Shape and attach with a brad.
7. Stamp the
sentiment with the Chestnut Roan ink, hand cut into a pennant shape, and attach
behind the flower.

Ooooh Gini I always think kraft paper is so plain but have you turned it into such a colorful and beautiful card. The black border really give it a dramatic effect
