Be Happy




Hi, it’s Gini, and I’m here to share I bright and cheerful card. It's simple, but striking. And, it's the perfect card for our challenge this week - Keep it Krafty. I hope you are playing along for your chance to win the weekly $20 CLD store credit - and this month's big prize, an eBosser! 






If you would like to make this card, here are the step-by-step instructions:
1     1.  Cut two layers of kraft, and mat with 1/8” border of Shocking Pink cardstock.
2      2.  Stamp the floral background onto both pieces of the kraft paper using the Orchid ink.
3     3.  Diecut the mesh border from brown cardstock.
        4.  Die cut the top and bottom edges of a piece of Shocking Pink cardstock, using the Lady Kate Edger.
      5.  Mount the mesh border in the center.  Add ribbon between the diecut edge and the center mesh.
   6.   Cut flowers and ink with Jasmine ink. Shape and attach with a brad.
          7. Stamp the sentiment with the Chestnut Roan ink, hand cut into a pennant shape, and attach behind the flower.

  4. Ooooh Gini I always think kraft paper is so plain but have you turned it into such a colorful and beautiful card. The black border really give it a dramatic effect
