I decided to do a re-use project  of napkin rings re purposed.Let me share a few steps.

This is what I started with, some ugly blue wooden rings, some scrap pieces of two sided ribbon and some sting pearls.
My dies I used for this project

I used my Exotic Butterfly Large #2. I found several sheets of designer paper in shades of purple.
I know these aren't the best pictures, but I wanted to share how I used my scraps to cover the ugly wooden  rings.I folded the ribbon and added some lace.
Use can click on any of my pictures if you would like to see the details closer. I tried to vary the patterns of paper and also the flowers I used on the front of each butterfly.

I know this is a simple idea but I really like how it turned out- such a fun design-and I got to re-use something I would have gotten rid of because I didn't like the color.
So did you like this Shades Of purple Project? Won't you join us this week, there is still a couple days left to join the challenge.
