Hello dear Cheery Lynn designs lovers,
Kianel here with you today to show you my last card made with Cheery Lynn designs.
This week i challenged myself again with new things for me: new shape i never tested before, new color combo (grey + pink), no character stamp, no flourish, one flower only. I like that, it's very fun to do!!
I tried to use several layers and decided to go for a self made background.
The base of the card is made using the Oval lace Mega Doily from the Reflections Boutique. I took the biggest size of the set and flipped it in two. I then cut one layer of cardstock i inked in dark pink to place under so the design of the outside border would show off (i used the ourside of the die as a template). Using the inside of the die as a template, i cut a piece of white paper to go inside my oval. Using two different shades of pink ink and clear embossing powder i made my background.
The big flower is made with the Build a flower set #1. some petals are coloured with inks and paints and some are cut from grey cardstock.
Using the Cardmakers nesting dies rectangle and the rectangle scalloped i used several layers for my main picture. I added the Anastasia border and some lace to close the card.
The cardstock i used is from Bazzill, the stamps are from Great Impressions, all dies from Cheery Lynn designs, inks from Ranger, clear embossing powder and shimmer paints from Creative Inspirations paints, lace and flower from my personnal stash.
Hope you will like it and try to challenge yourself with Cheery Lynn Designs dies, it's very fun and you have plenty of possibilities!
