# Debbie Sherman # Dimensional Leaves

Recycled Packaging

Good morning Cheery Lynn fans! Today I want to share something a little different.  Everyday I throw away plastic packaging and started thinking there has to be a way to use this.  I thought I'd experiment with my Cheery Lynn Dies and I was ecstatic to learn that they worked perfect for my little venture!
First I'll share my layout and then tell you what I did.
To start I used my Spring Flower Burst Doily on the background. Next I used my Cherry Blossom die to cut the small flowers from the plastic and Stacker Flower 2 for the background flower. (you will have to go over them a couple of times with your machine)I used my leaf die to cut the leaves from the plastic also.

Now to color the flowers and leaves I used Alcohol Inks.  I then added a brad to the center of the flowers to hold them together and adhered then to my layout.Next I took my heat gun and a skewer and heated then up a little and shaped them. I added the leaves and the Fanciful Flourishes to finish the layout.

I look at plastic packaging in a different light these days.  I've started a small stash of plastic and I now know that my Cheery Lynn Dies are perfect for cutting out a different kind of embellishment for my layouts!!

Thanks for stopping by today, be sure to go to the Cheery Lynn Challenge blog and check out this weeks challenge...you could win a $20 gift certificate towards your next Cheery Lynn Dies collection!
