You can purchase the dies (that are compatible with all of the most popular tabletop die cut machines... in this case I used my Cuttlebug) at the Cheery Lynn Designs online store. I'll provide direct links to each of the dies I used in the post.
The first card I created features the Lattice 2 die, that I used to emboss a layer of the card and also used as a die cut on my cardstock. I then trimmed the cardstock to create a matching border for the card.
Here's a close up of the border (below) that I created using the Lattice 2 die cut. I simply trimmed the two long sections from either side of the die cut cardstock and then staggered them and attached them to the back of the embossed layer. So easy and pretty! This card also features two dies in the French Flair die set (the set includes six different die cut sizes!).
The second card I created features coordinating patterned paper that I die cut using both the Lattice 1 and Lattice 2 dies. Each cut is layered together to create a beautiful grid pattern as the backdrop for my card. I also embossed with the Lattice 2 die and used it as a base to attach the grid and other card elements to the cardbase.
For this card I also used two of the butterflies from the Butterfly Die Bundles ... (they are gorgeous!). In the close up photo below you can see how beautifully embossed these butterflies really are... and I highlighted the embossing even further by running a bit of ink around the edges and lightly over the top of each die cut.
You can visit the Cheery Lynn Designs online store to purchase these dies for your next papercraft project... and we'd love to see what you create so please leave us a comment with a link to your design and we'll be sure to visit!
