Hi again! It's Irit here and this time with a couple of Hannukkah projects.
This year Hannukkah was very early, so the Holidays are over for us, but still- it's always the next year to come, so I decided to use my Cheery Lynn dies and embossers to make 2 Hannukkah projects all together: a card and a tag.
The tag tutorial can be seen also on Scrapbook news and review online newsletter- I did it for 12 days of Christmas tags hop, also mine is for Hannukkah. You are mostly welcome to see the tutorial there too.
Just something you did to know to understand this Hannukkah issue:
It's in the memory of our Temple (the brick wall), with 8 days of light (the Menorrah candles on a card and one extra we use to light all other 8 and numbers on the tag), and the small dreidel on the tag corner is the game our kids play during the Holiday season.
And now for the card. Made with Bricks embossing plate over an metal silver sheat, using the oval stackers die and the set of table candles.
The tag was embossed with this very new for me coloring material- Easy color (I used the blue one from the set) and it works just great - also it's mostly covered after all with numbers and the central circle.
The corrugated cirle was cut with a circle stacker
The most difficult was to add the tiny flames over the candles; so I lost some and had to cut more and more candles from the set.
See you next week with a project I already did.. Very special for me (my first grandson we are all waiting for on 2-3 weeks from now.. )
