Sunflower Card with Cherry Nelson

3:30 AM 1 Comments
Hello Cheery Lynn Peeps!   Cherry here at the blog today.  I have a sweet card for you using the new IOE Curls and Swirls embossing folder and the
IOE Rectangular plates.
I used the plates and embossing as a background design and added my sunflower to the middle.  I than added the Lattice valance border die to either side as a frame.
From there I wrapped my ribbon and tied my bow and added the Sunflower die along with some buttons for accents and I was done.   Thanks for visiting!  Cherry

Live Laugh Love By Debbie Brownmiller

3:30 AM 2 Comments
A warm Hello to you. It's Debbie from Debbie's Time Out hosting the blog today. I am featuring Cheery Lynn Designs beautiful Gardenias today.

I have used the Nautical Wheeler Doily  and Lattice Valance Border  for my base. These both make for an elegant card, especially on the dark background.

For the gardenias, I inked only the centers of the petals and then spritzed them. The dies I used for them are the Gardenia Strip  and  Small Gardenia .  I shaped them with a stylus and then assembled them. I tucked in a few leaves from the Rose Leaf Strip .

The Live Laugh Love is one of my favorite sentiments. I inked here and there with purple and blue but also leaving some of the white for highlights.

I invite you now to come join the Bi-weekly  challenge
@ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree. I would love to see what you create.

Thanks for visiting the blog and for all the comments you leave. I really appreciate them.
                                                                        Have a crafty day.
                                                                            Debbie

Hi Everyone, it's Julie here today. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends and Santa left you all some lovely craft goodies.

Today I am sharing a New Year card to coincide with this weeks Festivities as we enter 2015.

I started by mounting cream and gold card together which I have distressed at the edges with my distress tool for a shabby worn look.

My clock you will see I also went around the edges of the Angel Wing with my tool. I added lots of sparkle from gems and put the hands of my clock to just after midnight to symbolise the start of the New Year.

My glasses also had sparkling gems added to symbolise the bubbles in the Champagne.

Wishing everyone a Creative 2015.

Happy New Year,

Julie xx

A Royal Christmas by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 5 Comments

Hello everyone and a warm welcome to our new followers. It's Julie here hosting the blog today. I have made another Christmas card to showcase the beautiful Snowflake Doily die from our new release. This die blends itself to Christmas and any other occasion depending on what shade of paper you choose. I decided to give it a regal theme so stuck mainly to reds and golds in my card.

I cut my doily out in gold card and offset the angel wing behind in red card stock and added some diamantés around the circumference and mounted my poinsettia flower on the top with a dazzle in the centre.

You will see I cut out my Lattice Valance die in red card and I love the way it frames my card. I also paper pieced in some gold card behind my die cut which helps to make it pop.

I extended my Horizon stacker die, paper piecing behind my doily, you will also notice I used part of the Lattice Valance die across the centre band, adding a Greetings message and stickles around my card to finish.

Well I hope you have enjoyed looking at my card and Good luck to everyone entering our weekly challenge and remember you could win $20 to spend here at Cheery Lynn. Next Saturday I will show you all how to make your Snowflake Doily into a square frame.

Julie x
