Cherish with Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi Welcome back to another quick, clean and simple card using Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts. I was feeling the need to use greens today because it reminds me of nature and it is very calming to me.

The base of the card is 5 x 6 inches. I added 3 sets of the leaves and two sets of the miniature rose for the flowers. The circle is the smallest of the stitched circles and the cherish is the larger of the 2.

I added some green pearls and it is ready to go!

Cherish Cards with Amy Voorthuis

2:30 AM 2 Comments
Good morning lovelies.
I am so happy you decided to visit our blog today.  I would like to show you two simple cards that you can make for any occasion if you only change the word that is added. For these cards I used four dies and two Maja Design collections "Vintage Romance"{the newest collection} and "Life in the Country"! I did that so you can see it in two different colors schemes and to show you that you can use any papers you prefer.

Cherish:
As you can maybe see, I cut out the B776 - Sakura Flower twice for both cards and added the extra color on top of it. Later I added star dust Stickles {oh boy I just love that stuff} to give it more shimmer and also some twinkling tinsel spray from Lindy's Stamp Gang.

I also added some flat back pearls to the FRM132 - French Lattice Small die to give it more depth and give it that extra touch. Now you see that you can make two of the same cards and they totally look different only because you used another paper collection.

Cherish Me & You Card by Amy Voorthuis

3:30 AM 4 Comments
Good morning lovelies.
Today I would like to show you another shabby chic card made yet again with the pretty "Vintage Autumn Basics" by Maja Design.
I also added a sheet of the "Vintage Spring Basics collection" to give it a light blue touch.
As I told you all last week I love making cards.  I am in a card phase.....hope that fever will not last too long hehe!

Cherish You & Me:
I cut of the top of the fern leaf to use it in my flower cluster. When I make layouts, I use the whole fern. Don't you just love that B144 - Celtic Heart?  I am totally in to hearts on my cards at the moment maybe because it's almost Valentine's Day!
 Let's have a closer look:

On top you see a piece of resin where I added a clock to later on put a layer of "Crackle Accents"on to give it a vintage look like a piece of broken glass.

Cherish Card by Corina Finley

3:30 AM 5 Comments

Hello! Corina here with you today on this last Friday of June - Time flies when you are creating!

This week I thought I would play with the Black Eyed Susan Strip flower die. This strip die has 4 flower layers - I used only two layers to create this flower. The Die also has a centre for the Black Eyed Susan which I did not use for this flower today.

I inked each with blue ink and then misted both layers with water. I gave the water a few seconds to soak in and then I twisted each petal (pinching the tips) in the same direction. I allowed them to dry and sprayed with homemade glimmer mist.

I then layered one on top of the other and added a pearl brad. I love the look of this flower - so whimsical! I hope you try to make one and let me know how it turns out!

Dies used:
Flourish Leaf Strip - B178
Fanciful Flourish - B117
Victorian Romance Flourish - DL151
Mini Fanciful Flourish - B117S
Olive Branches - B147
Black Eyed Susan Strip - B338
Chicken Wire - FRM144
Fiona’s Magic Mirror - FRM140
Cherish (Set of 2) - B415

I hope you will play along in our weekly Challenge 138 - Wonderful Weddings. You could win a $20 shopping spree at the online Cheery Lynn Designs store!

Thanks for joining me today!

Take care,
