Celebrate with Roses Card

3:30 AM 0 Comments
A warm hello to you. Glad to see you here. It's Debbie with you  from Debbie's Time Out. Today I am sharing a card with you combining the Step Card die with the Pop Up "Celebrate" die.

I started  with the A2 Fancy Step Card as my base. I cut the Pop Up Celebrate  from a piece of flowered paper and layered it to the center of the step card. The "Celebrate" was inked up with distress inks.  I cut a piece of flowered paper to fit behind the scrolls of the step card.

Here I lave layered three different die cut outs to the center of the step card. The Fleur De Lis Square DoilyDusty Miller Square and the Vintage Tile in that order.

Next came the flower arrangement. All were cut in white and inked with distress inks. I placed two of the  Tiny Fanciful Flourish on two corners opposite each other. I then created roses using the medium- Rose and the Tea Rose small. I added a couple of yellow Darling Daisies  to each side of the rose. I cut and used the Branch as greenery around the flowers. This is a simple card to make  but with the fancy step card and the dies I choose to use it turns out to be a very elegant card that anyone would love to receive.  Until next time have a crafty day my friends.

Love and Cherub by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Hi Cheery Lynn Fans, it’s Julie here and today I am sharing some inspiration using one of our fabulous Mega Doilies. These Dies are fantastic for scrapbooking with but look equally as good using as accents on cards for a WOW factor and cut beautifully.

My card today measures approximately 8 x 6 inches and the border strip on my card is just over 2 inches. I mounted the same colour of cardstock to the inside and on my border strip which gives contrast and helps my Doily pop.

I cut into my paper using my heart Die. You can also use the heart border edge die to cut it out of the paper should you wish.

My flowers were shaped on my Embossing mat and shaded with Distress ink. I used small Pom Pom balls in the centres of my flowers which I coloured with Alcohol Ink to get my desired shade.

My sentiment was stamped onto my diecut adding a cherub which I made from a mould and paper clay.

Finishing off my card with lots of Pearl Accents.

Hello! Sharing another Valentine card using Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts.
I have been making several heartwarming cards this year....just need to mail them all out now.

I first embossed with the embossing plate "petite hearts" Then I die cut a couple of "stitched rectangles" I added the beautiful "heart" and "sweetheart candy" on the sides. I wanted to add some beautiful doves from "birds from earth and sky" and lastly some "tiny fanciful flourish"

I added some pearls on the corners just to match the polka dot paper....The sketch was inspired by Verve as well as the sentiment....

Than again for stopping by today!
Hugs Lisa

Hearts 3-D Pop Up Valentines Day Card with Cheryl Walker

1:30 AM 0 Comments
Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Friday & Happy early Valentine's Day to you all! Here is the Hearts 3-D Pop Up card I did for Valentine's Day using not only the pop up die, but a few other Cheery Lynn Dies as well. I have been enjoying my time in the craft room working with all these beautiful dies.  It's been really nice to get back down here crafting again. Seems like I had too long of a break. hehehehe

On this Hearts Pop Up card, I did the card base again in white.  Yes, I know lots of white lately...hehehehehe.  I need to work on that. Anyway, I did cut the hearts out again in the coordinating design paper polka dots and added them to the hearts on the top. I also stamped Happy Valentine's Day. Next I worked with 4 layers, then layered the Vintage Tile, Swans Border, and Love Tags. I added some bows and pearls and this card is complete. The design paper is from my stash and was leftover scraps I chose to use up. I'm trying to work on using up the scraps, as we get so many of those.  Then they get put in a box and I end up forgetting about them :)

Cheryl
