Happy 4th of July with Laurie Schmidt

Hi everyone! Laurie here from Stamping Up North wishing you a Happy 4th of July!

It's time to celebrate with some of Cheery Lynn's AWESOME patriotic dies, and I have 2 cards to share with you today.

For both cards I used the Proud USA die. I cut them out and did some paper piecing.

I also adhered the letters USA from the Life's a Beach die:

Ok, I know you are wondering where I got the "U" from Life's a Beach. I cut just a bit off of the A, and turned it upside down..lol!

Then I adhered them both onto some pierced stitch and cut rectangles.

For the top card I used the Celebrate pop up die....I love to cut it off and use it for a sentiment.

Graduation Card with Laurie Schmidt

Hi Cheery Lynn fans!

Laurie here from Stamping Up North sharing a graduation card today.

It's spring,and while it may not FEEL like spring up north with all the cold temps lately, it IS spring....LOL....and that means time for graduations. I'm trying to get ahead of the game and making several of this card in various school colors. Today's card is in red and yellow.

I used Cheery Lynn's Graduation set which has 2 pieces...the hat and the diploma. I love the detail on these, especially the tassel. So fun! I cut them out in black and white, and adhered them onto a Cheery Lynn stitched rectangle around the sentiment.

Then I cut out Cheery Lynn's Pop Up Celebrate Word in yellow and black. I adhered that along side the rectangle, then backed it all on a red stitched rectangle. Three enamel dots finished the card!

Celebrate Card with Bonnie Garby

Hi friends. Bonnie from Make Time to Craft here with you today sharing a fun pop up Celebrate card with you using dies from the latest 3D Pop Up die release from Cheery Lynn Designs.

I colored the pop up celebrate word the way I demonstrate on my Add Color to Your Pop Up Elements video HERE. The card background was created using a soft brush and Distress Inks.

My card is adorned with a pretty bow created on my Bow it All Tool using Poppy Red and Tangerine Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Celebrate with Roses Card

A warm hello to you. Glad to see you here. It's Debbie with you from Debbie's Time Out. Today I am sharing a card with you combining the Step Card die with the Pop Up "Celebrate" die.

I started with the A2 Fancy Step Card as my base. I cut the Pop Up Celebrate from a piece of flowered paper and layered it to the center of the step card. The "Celebrate" was inked up with distress inks. I cut a piece of flowered paper to fit behind the scrolls of the step card.

Here I lave layered three different die cut outs to the center of the step card. The Fleur De Lis Square Doily, Dusty Miller Square and the Vintage Tile in that order.

Next came the flower arrangement. All were cut in white and inked with distress inks. I placed two of the Tiny Fanciful Flourish on two corners opposite each other. I then created roses using the medium- Rose and the Tea Rose small. I added a couple of yellow Darling Daisies to each side of the rose. I cut and used the Branch as greenery around the flowers. This is a simple card to make but with the fancy step card and the dies I choose to use it turns out to be a very elegant card that anyone would love to receive. Springtime Birthday by Julie Lavalette

Hi Cheery Lynn fans, its JULIE here today. This last week in Scotland has been very cold and we have had a lot of snow and frost. Thinking of warmer days I decided to create a Birthday card using one of our latest Pop-Up Dies - Celebrate, along with spring coloured cardstock.

I shadowed layered my word Celebrate 3 times to make it pop and incorporate the colours on my card design and flowers.

My flowers were all cut out in white cardstock and shaded in the centres with some ink. Next I shaped the petals on my Embossing mat and added Flowersoft into the centres. The smaller flowers I bunched a few together in places and added single ones too for extra detail and interest.
