Wired Wall Hanging

Hello everybody Tamara here, its Sunday again and that means my post and inspiration for Cheery Lynn.  My project this week is a wall hanging.

I die cut my base from the biggest scalloped edge square stacker.  Its just the right side for these type of wall hangings and the best thing is that you could add to it at a later stage if you so wished. Some of my previous wall hangings I have created 2 and 3 tiered ones, they do look so effective! I like to give these as gifts instead of traditional cards..

For the sentiment I used Eco green acrylic paint in pomegranate and aged gold with a little walnut stain distress inks on the side.. These gorgeous flowers are from the new release called Shasta Daisy, these come in a flower strip.. To create the shape I first spritzed with water, crumpled them up then very carefully unfolded.  Once you have a shape that you like use your heat gun to dry.  I dripped these into melted beeswax, they then retain their shape.
The leafs have had a dusting of perfect pearls over the beeswax, this creates such a soft sheen..

I have also added a touch of flower soft to the edges.

Hope you like my inspiration today, if you would like a chance at winning $20 coupon to spend on Cheery Lynn Dies, check out Cheery Lynn Challenge blog.  Challenges start on Monday's we have a different theme each week.
Well I'm off got a busy day ahead. Wherever you are have a fabulous day..

  3. Your wall hanging is adorable, Tamara! Love all the pretty embellishments. I have my eye on that lace. I am thinking I can make a border die like that. :)
