# Bird Cage # Doilies

Back to Nature

Being the Queen of Procrastination is not a good thing when your crafting Mojo decides to desert you.  I started my Cheery Lynn Designs card for today about 9PM (normal for me) and after 3 failed attempts I finally came up with this one at 1:50AM, ugh!  I am not totally happy with it, but it is what it is!  I used the always so beautiful English Tea Party doily as the center focal point of my 6" square card.  I created the larger flowers using my Daisy Strip die.  I added greenery using my Olive Branches and then the tiny blossoms from my Embellishments #3 die.  I did not want my Bird Cage to be see through so I hand trimmed the back piece and then added a hummingbird and a small dragonfly from my Tiny Things with Wings set.  The last step was the sentiment stamped on layered Tags 4 dies.

Be sure to visit the Cheery Lynn Designs challenge blog for more inspiration and to join in on this week's Back to Nature challenge for a chance to win $20 to the store.

  1. Wow Sandy This one was worth staying up late for. That doily look awesome in that color and makes everything else stand out so nicely. The bird cage in pokadots give it a extra dimension. Love the humming bird in two tone and the little dragonfly is so cute in two tone as well. Your daisies are always gorgeous. This is just beautiful
