Holiday cards - two looks with the same dies

In the new release for October from Cheery Lynn Designs are these two fabulous dies, Santa's Sleigh and Christmas Sleigh Border   I have combined them with Anastasia Border to create this wonderful easel card.  I created my card base using the largest of the Scallop French Flair Stackers Nesting dies, then cutting a panel with the matching Silver French Flair Stackers for the background.  I embossed this with my XL Snowflake Flurries Embossing plate.  Finished size is 6" square.

Here is another card made with the same dies (other than the Stackers) but I chose to add a piece of vellum behind the sleigh and color it in.  Isn't that snowflake background fabulous?  It is one of my favorite embossing plates.   Be sure to stop by Cheery Lynn Designs to see the new release for this month, they are simply amazing.  And visit here each day for more inspiration.
